Nigerian rapper, Oladips has called out his fellow colleague, Qdot for coming online to announce that he was alive when his family wasn’t certain about his situation.

Only recently, the musician was rumored to be dead but Qdot had debunked it on his Instagram page.

Since then, Oladips revealed he is still alive while claiming he had been through a lot and would share the details with the public as soon as he felt better.

He dragged Qdot for debunking his death, more so because they did not have any conversation since the 2nd of January, 2022 but he made it seem like he had just gotten off the phone with him.

Oladips lamented the fact that anything could have happened because he went through a lot. He claims to have proof and promises to tell the story in full.

He also addressed the man who posted that he was eating Turkey and rice, alongside a video of both of them hugging.

According to him, the video was made over two years ago and he would teach the young man a lesson for making it look like he pranked Nigerians about his death.

2 year old Child fighting for life after being mercilessly be@ten by mother's friend who was babysitting

A two-year-old boy is now fighting for his life in hospital after he was brutally beaten by his drunk mother's friend who was babysitting.

Giovanni Reichert has undergone multiple operations over the past several months after his mother asked her friend McKinley Sloan Hernandez, 25, to watch over him.
‘I received a text message from the suspect saying I needed to rush to St Anthony’s Hospital because my son had gone lifeless after a bath,’ Stefanie Reichert told KDVR.

‘Once I saw him and all the 50 doctors standing around him, I had to leave the room because it was the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life.’

Giovanni was airlifted to a children’s hospital after ‘being harmed by the hands of a trusted caregiver’, states a GoFundMe page set up for him.

Reichert said that Hernandez would often watch her son and other kids at an unlicensed childcare facility at her home in Lakewood, Colorado. Hernandez agreed to take care of Giovanni overnight on September 1, but it turned into a crime scene.

The mother found Giovanni with blunt force trauma blows to his head and body.

Reichert said that Hernandez ‘won’t admit to anything’.

All she’s said is she was drinking, and he got hurt in her care,’ she said.

The toddler had an emergency surgery to suppress brain bleed and part of his skull was removed to reduce pressure. He is intubated and seated and doctors are not sure how his recovery will shape up.

‘Prior to this, (Giovanni) was a happy, healthy, energetic two year old,’ states the GoFundMe page. ‘As you can imagine, his parents Anthony and Stefanie are completely distraught.’

An arrest warrant was issued for Hernandez on Wednesday and she was arrested Friday night and faces felony child abuse charges.

‘I make up scenarios in my head all the time for the injuries he sustained,’ Reichert said, ‘So I wish I knew.’

Capital preparatory charter schools announces the end of their partnership with Diddy amid s3xaul assault accusations

Hip Hop mogul, Diddy's partnership with Capital Preparatory Schools has come to an end amid his ongoing sexual assault allegations.

On Tuesday November 28,  Dr. Steve Perry, the founder and head of schools for Capital Preparatory, released a statement regarding the severed partnership between the company and Diddy.

According to the statement, the decision was made after a thorough evaluation that wasn't taken "lightly."

"Following a comprehensive evaluation, a decision has been made to end the partnership between Capital Preparatory Schools and Sean Combs," Dr. Perry wrote in a statement shared on the school's official website."

While this decision was not made lightly, we firmly believe it is in the best interest of our organization's health and future."

Diddy helped launch the charter school's Harlem location back in 2016 and donated $1 million in 2021 for its Bronx location.

Two Nigerian men arrested in India for allegedly duping 20 women after befriending them on Instagram
Two Nigerian nationals were arrested in India for allegedly swindling at least 20 women of crores of rupees after befriending them on Instagram.

A team of the Manesar Cyber Police Station in Gurugram arrested the accused identified as Ebuka Felix and Chukwuka Ewere, from their residence in Delhi's Nilothi on Monday, May 29, 2023.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that five people were involved in their gang and all of them used to target women through Instagram.  Eyes Of Lagos gathered that,

The suspects were apprehended following a complaint from a woman who said she was cheated of Rs 1.80 crore by a man she met on Instagram last year.

According to police, the victim reported the matter on April 10 at Manesar Police Station.

In her complaint, the woman said the man had introduced himself as a British Airways pilot, residing in the UK.

"The accused talked to me regularly. One day last year he said he was sending a gift parcel for me which contained an iPhone, jewelry, and other items. Later, on December 6, a man called me saying a parcel had arrived in my name and I had to pay Rs 35,000 in tax to get it,'' the woman said in her complaint.

The victim deposited the money in a bank account shared by the man, but was still being asked for more money by his so-called friend, who demanded it in the name of different fees such as 'United national anti terrorist clearance' or some penalty, police said. By the time she realized it was a fraud, she had paid Rs 1.80 crore to the man, police said.

A check book, 16 bank passbooks, 25 ATM cards, seven mobile phones with as many SIM cards, one laptop, one scooter, and Rs 10,000 cash found in their possession were seized by police.

Both were produced in a city court and were taken on a four-day police remand.

''The two are also the members of the same gang which was busted by police on May 11. We have taken them on police remand and are questioning them,'' said Varun Dahiya, ACP, Crime.

Manesar Cyber Station SHO, Inspector Naresh Kumar, said the Nigerians revealed that three women are also involved in their gang.

“All three are from Mizoram. The women after committing the crime used to return to Mizoram. We have intensified their search,” he added.

Global Leaders hail Dangote Petroleum Refinery

African Presidents, eminent personalities, members of the National Assembly, prominent traditional rulers, state governors, and captains of industry joined Aliko Dangote, President/CE of the pan-African Conglomerate, Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) earlier this week at Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos to commission the Dangote petroleum refinery and petrochemicals plant.

At the historic event, Aliko Dangote in his speech disclosed that the newly commissioned 650,000pbd refinery would employ over 100,000 Nigerian youths. According to him, the company (refinery) now has over 33,000 employees. He said the refinery will generate over $21 billion, thereby saving the country huge forex that would have been used for fuel importation.

According to him, the petroleum refinery would be run at the highest effective and efficient level for maximum benefit to all Nigerians. Makesense pm reports,

Dangote also assured Nigerians that 40 per cent of the production capacity would be available for export with the coming onstream of the plant, thus guaranteeing raw materials for plastic, and pharmaceutical industries.

City striker, Erling Haaland picks up FWA Footballer of the Year award after his record-breaking 52-goal season

Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has admitted his record-breaking first season in English football surpassed his expectations as he picked
up FWA Footballer of the Year award.

The striker collected the Football Writers' Association's Footballer of the Year award in London on Thursday night, May 25.

Haaland has scored 52 goals in 51 games for City - ahead of Sunday's Premier League finale at Brentford following his £51million move from Borussia Dortmund last summer.

City face Inter Milan in Istanbul in the Champions League final on June 10, a week after they play Manchester United in the FA Cup final, having already won the Premier League. They are aiming to emulate their city rivals' achievement of 1999.

Haaland said: 'There are two finals left, we have to stay focused even though we won the Premier League.

'We have to stay focused to achieve what we can achieve in the next two finals. I will do everything I can to achieve good things in the finals and hopefully win both.

'It's a good thing being favourites (against Inter Milan) because it means we have qualities, we have to attack the game in our way, play our football and in the end we'll see who wins it.'

Haaland earned 82 per cent of the votes to win the FWA award, 75 years after Sir Stanley Matthews won the first trophy, ahead of Arsenal's Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.

'I feel good, it's a special moment,' he added, speaking to the FWA. 'I expected to do good things but, to do this, I didn't expect.'

115 EFCC Cadets Graduate From Police Training Camp

About 115 cadets of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have graduated from the Police Mobile Force Training Camp (PMFTC), Ende-Hills, in Nasarawa State after a nine-month course.

The graduands, who were trained in Course 4, deputy inspector cadre 6 (DIC6), are made up of 96 males and 19 females.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the chairman of the EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa, said: “the training started in December 2022 with 96 males and 19 females, making a total of 115 cadets inducted into the EFCC.”

He further said they were trained in legal, combat, drills and other important courses that would prepare them for the job ahead. Eyes Of lagos reports,

Tasking the cadets on the job ahead and the challenges, Bawa said: “this is a crucial national assignment and it takes years to build but seconds to destroy,” even as he admonished them to be the best in the place of work.

On May 8, 2023, Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ remix with American superstar, Selena Gomez peaked at No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100, making him the first Nigerian to record a top 5 song as lead act.
