THEPACIFIST: You are right but to be honest with ourselves we know there are bad actors who feel they can inflict some damage on Naira with the hope of tarnishing the Govt, but they are traceable as long as they use CEX like Binance and the likes, just that it seems they are clueless or doesn't have the morale/integrity/courage to go after these bad actors that is causing headache for the naija cryptoverse Well said, these people come to government to take their turn at looting and when it's their turn, the previous looters who are now retired as senators, reps or godfather cannot Kai them, the the cycle is repeated, that's why their succession plan revolves around their type. |

THEPACIFIST: It is all muddled up, how was $26bn if they couldn't trace, at least they must have used some data to make such an estimate. All this banning crypto here and there is just a scheme to perpetuate their poverty agenda, believe me this government don't want anybody getting richer, they believe it's the reason for all the Japa. The figure is getting scarier by the day. |

Queengee: I opted for 25percent of my Pension remittance, all documents successful and now the only thing hindering the payment is my former company I worked with because they refused to acknowledge the letter my pension sent to them for confirmation before proceeding to pay me on ground that I didn't resign properly.
truly when I left the company 3years ago I don't submit any resignation letter. I left without giving any notice because I was tired of the job. so is there any legal means I go about this because those HRs can be very wicked when you need them This happened to my friend some years back, exactly the same scenario, truth is they just want to punish you, they have no right not to reply. We wrote a strong warning letter to the company threatening that if the letter is not replied we will take them to court, copied the pension office, pencom, consumer protection, NLC, TUC etc. next thing you know, they replied stating some flimsy terms. Before two weeks they replied |

Svoboda: Venezuelas economic woes were caused mainly by numerous inhibiting US economic sanctions and embargoes.
This worsened Hugo Chavezs bolivarian socialist welfare system, where state revenues were primarily poured into a welfare system that catered for the poor in free housing, health care, education and other social services.
This made it difficult for Venezuela to experience a far reaching economic development, especially in the real sector, thus exposing its economy to shocks.
In nigeria, tinubu and buhari chose their own respective economic development pathways.
Buhari failed to invest in boosting our local refining capacity.
Tinubu, on the other hand, failed in achieving that before the removal of subsidy, as well as devaluing of the naira. This is all too reminiscent of ibbs sap, until abacha stepped in to calm the storm.
One thing we ought to understand is that tinubu is a neo liberalist. Economic Neo liberalism has never helped africa in any way. It always widens the gap between the rich and the poor. Quite interesting, need to say that while Venezuela got to that state through a different route, Nigeria is heading same destination, it's the route that differs |

More of a defence than reply, don't let us forget that Venezuela didn't get there in one day, they went through this defence pattern along the way too. It is well with this country. |

Fiscus105: You forgot that he didn't tell them to share or destroy them but not to sell them in bulk to outsiders
You forgot that after sell everything off to outsiders, the citizens of the state would still be eating to be alive. I guess ur own state governor would find ways how Niger state people will be eaten.
In bible thr was a story...5 wise and 5 foolish virgins.
You belong to 5 foolish virgins. I will take the insult is a joke. In economics and reality, you don't buy what you are selling by yourself, you need outsiders to bring in values for your resources. Same way Nigeria as a whole needs other countries to buy her fuel. If Niger traps her resources in there, her farmers will be forced to sell cheaply to avoid waste and in turn loose their ROi. ...and by the way, mind the way you insult or use bad languages on people. Naira land is not as faceless as it seem. Your identity can be 95% verified here |

malali: This is an Intelligent Decision by Niger state Governor.
Controlling the open market to prevent bulk buyers from causing scarcity for small retail buyers involves implementing various measures and strategies:
Regulatory Policies: Implement regulations to prevent hoarding and price manipulation by bulk buyers. This may include setting limits on the quantity of goods an individual or entity can purchase within a specific timeframe.
Market Monitoring: Establish mechanisms for monitoring market activities to detect irregularities such as hoarding or price gouging. This could involve regulatory bodies, market surveillance teams, or technology-driven solutions like data analytics to track market trends and detect anomalies.
Price Controls: Consider implementing price controls or price ceilings on essential food items to prevent excessive price hikes that disproportionately affect small retail buyers. However, this approach should be carefully implemented to avoid unintended consequences such as black markets or reduced supply due to unprofitability.
Supply Chain Management: Improve supply chain management to ensure efficient distribution of goods from producers to retailers. This includes addressing logistical challenges, improving infrastructure, and promoting transparency and fairness in the supply chain.
Support for Small Retailers: Provide support and incentives for small retailers to enhance their purchasing power and competitiveness. This could include access to credit, training programs, and cooperative purchasing arrangements to leverage economies of scale.
Market Information: Facilitate access to timely and accurate market information for both bulk buyers and small retailers. This empowers market participants to make informed decisions and reduces the likelihood of sudden shortages or price spikes.
Promote Competition: Encourage competition in the market by reducing barriers to entry for new players and fostering a diverse supplier base. This can help mitigate the dominance of large bulk buyers and create a more level playing field for small retailers.
Public Awareness and Education: Raise public awareness about responsible consumption practices and the impact of hoarding on market stability. Educating consumers about their rights and responsibilities can help foster a culture of fair trade and discourage speculative behavior.
By implementing a combination of regulatory measures, market monitoring, supply chain improvements, support for small retailers, and promoting competition and consumer education, authorities can better control the open market and mitigate the adverse effects of bulk buyers on small retail buyers. You forgot to mention that the farmers will loose their income flow and won't be able to continue farming. The governor should prepare to start sharing palliative soon |

Christianity Etc › Re: My Take On The BBC Documentary On TB Joshua by vonlogon: 11:38pm On Jan 10, 2024 |
gidgiddy: I took my time yesterday to watch all three Episodes of the BBC documentary on late TB Joshua. A number on women of different races and nationalities, British, South African, Zimbabwean, American, Philippines and Nigerian, all came together to talk about TB Joshua
The one thing all these women had in common is that they once all moved from their respective countries to live in TB Joshua's Region's community, Synagogue Of All Nations, SOAN, and became part of his inner circle.
All the women gave horrific and graphic accounts of rape, underage sex, sexual abuse, physical and verbal abuse carried out on them by TB Joshua.
The South African woman claimed she had three abortions due to multiple rape by TB Joshua. The British women told how TB Joshua would send for them only to sexually molest them. The Zimbabwean gavee a story of how TB Joshua raped her as a virgin and underaged.
Even TB Joshua's own daughter came foward to tell how she confronted her father for multiple sexual molestation of women only for him to have her locked up for months and beaten daily.
I was also shocked at the Story of how the SOAN building collapsed, the lie that was told that an aircraft brought it down, and the coverup that followed as well as the 'fake miracles'
Even though TB Joshua is no longer here to defend himself, I believe these women. There is no smoke without fire. A group of women who live in different countries of the world cannot give similar accounts of sexual abuse by one man without it having an element of truth
I believe that TB Joshua was a rapist, sexual predator and a sociopath. I believe TB Joshua used religion to cover up the evil within himself. He operated as a man of God in the light, but was a devil in the dark.
I also believe that there are many well known men of God who are currently doing what TB Joshua did. These exposès had been on before his death, check YouTube, what I found baffling is that there's is no police report. No court case. But based on accounts of different people, I won't put my money on TBJ Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. |

But not now that children leave for school by 6:30 am and come back by 5:00 pm. If parents consider the amount of non academic influence the teacher has on their kids, they won't allow schools keep them beyond 2pm. But then we are too busy. |
