The only way you can format an internal HDD is by trying to install an OS or better still remove it put it inside an external HDD case, plug it into another system then format.

a bad sector hard drive needs to be regenerated first before u attempt any further procedures..if the hard drive responds well tehn there wld be no need to format it...the data in the bad sectors wld be moved to a new sector and that bad sector marked so data is not written into it..
u can call me on 08061679732...disaster recovery is my strong ppoint...
moreso,its just a 100-120g hard drive....if u dont have any meaningful info on it then it aint really worth the trouble..just replace it

it's a 2.5 sata 320gb internal hard drive used for console(ps3) processing speed,corrupted files has slowed it,quick format won't help cos it only writes zero on file path,full format on ps3 is unrealistic in Nigeria with power issues;18 hours interrupted needed for full format,pc is d only option,bt I need hdd enclosure,wat is d price range of a 2.5 hdd enclosure?

You can buy one yourself. Look for a computer and format. takes less than 2 minutes.
