I need advice from people who have experience with Nigerian loan apps.

I recently repaid a small loan on the Palmcredit Plus app. Immediately after repayment, ₦2,000 was credited to my account as a new loan. I did not intentionally apply for another loan.

When I contacted Palmcredit Plus, they said it was because I used the “Repay and Reloan” option instead of “Repay Only.” I honestly did not knowingly select any option to reapply for a loan.

I requested for reversal since I did not want the loan, but they refused and insisted I must repay with interest. I have not spent the money.

Has anyone experienced this with Palmcredit Plus or similar loan apps?

Is there any way to resolve this without damaging my record, or should I just pay and close the account?

I would appreciate honest advice. Thank you.
