EducationRe: Unilag pg 2014 Discussion by wagzo(m): 3:28pm On Aug 25, 2014
Hi Kalan, I'm having troubles uploading my certs on the registration portal (the error message is that I can't upload any file that is more than 15kb) which I consider pretty small. I have even shrunk all my files and none went down to 15kb. Is there anything one can do to get the certificates uploaded successfully on unilag's portal.
EducationRe: List Of The Top 10 Best Universities In Nigeria by wagzo(m): 3:43pm On Apr 07, 2011
does it really matter which school you attended or which one is first or better. in societies and climes that possess the basis and yardstick to grade, we will understand. the difference in the all these schools will probably be the number of obsolete equipment, dying facilities and local lecturers (that are not in touch with reality and the real world) that one has that the other does not. is there any university in this country where facilities are not stretched and where something industrially relevant and real time is being thought. no be every year these "best universities" dey turn out graduates who are continuously referred to as "unemployable". the sort of development and training we ought to get while on campus is now being done personally!!! people will only look at what you can deliver and your person. graduate with a first class from any Nigerian university and be an "industrial misfit" and see if people will care about which school u attended. imagine someone running a five year program in engineering without knowing anything relating to any form of relevant CAD design,  wen be sey our lecturers and profs no dey feel the pulse of the industry, all dem research work na soso copy n paste work, all of us no go school jare,  grin, and our government no dey try!!!!
EducationRe: Best School For Masters Degree In The UK? by wagzo(m): 9:10am On Feb 23, 2010
sorry for the little digression pple. i'm on the verge of taking a major decision as regards my career. i am a civil engineering graduate and i have a good flair for the oil and gas industry but need your advice in finally choosing a direction to head. though i have some little bias against UK universities, which decision would you consider "well taken" if i study subsea engineering/risk management (offshore technology) in the following universities

1. University of Stavanger (Norway)
2. Delft University of technology (Holland)
3. Cranfield University
4. University of Aberdeen
5. University of Newcastle.

cost, exposure, facilities, quality of teaching and prospect of employment all considered. thanks pple.
NYSCRe: NYSC: Now Your Suffering Continues by wagzo(m): 5:28pm On Oct 14, 2007
i sincerely hope this suffering and oblivious illusion will end one day. the NYSC was a post -civil war project meant to bridge the gap and douse the tension created by that shameful and avoidable war. it is obvious that the project has outlived its relevance and usefullness (imagine the ridiculous amount being paid as monthly allowance) and should thus be either scrapped or upgraded to something that conforms with time and meets the aspirations of those of us trying to integrate ourselves into the real world of practising all the productive things we've learnt on campus.
Music/RadioRe: FAZE "Independent" OR 2FACE "Grass 2 Grace" by wagzo(m): 4:58pm On Oct 14, 2007
tayo, we don't have to argue over this any more. faze is a cool artiste and is talented too but 2-face is the clear leader( their albums and their live performances while i was in camp are the basis of my classification). he has added another award to his collection ( in recognition of his works on his "grace to grass" album.
