DMerciful: Judgement that was written by Tinubu legal team? Did you follow up the judgement? What part of the judgement looks like it was written to favour Tinubu? Anyone who follows the judgement will commend the judiciary |

Politics › Obi Knows He Lost The Election by Wainey(op): 8:33am On Sep 10, 2023 |
But as a politician, he knows he needs to remain relevant till 2027 election else he gets forgotten like Peter Odili. The surest ways to maintain this momentum is to always be in the news with the court case, Atiku has been using this strategy too and it has always worked for him. Anyone who followed the PEPT judgement knows Obi actually lost the election, and he knows there is no black magic that will just take teleport him from third position to first position.
If I was in his shoes, I will also do thesame. |

Mombebe: How come Alex Otti and Bishop David Oyedepo are so different from 'the short people trait'? Oyedepo is not different, a man who started hating Buhari after Buhari start making him pay for the airport hangar he uses, he is a wolf in sheep clothing. As for Alex Otti, he seems like a good guy but let's give him some time. The only short person that has human sympathy is Osinbajo |

Uzodinma also seem like a short man... Osinbajo is not |

One thing is certain, Tinubu first 100days in office came with a renewed hope for many Nigerians. But the price is a bit unbearable for people, the inflation is too high for a minimum wage earner. |

OneCandleAway: Can he dare aspire for presidency in 2027? Against Tinubu? maybe not 2027, but if he doesn't care about becoming president, nor getting his political career destroyed, he would have left PDP. But Wike is playing it safe |
Politics › APC Was Greatly Underestimated by Wainey(op): 9:22pm On Sep 07, 2023 |
PDP thought they can break into 5 different parts and one of the parts is still capable of beating APC the ruling party.
This is pure delusional, no matter how weak APC is, they still have supporters. Thinking you can do away with Obi, Kwankwasor, Wike etc and still win doesn't make sense to me. Lets forget Atiku for now, only Obi and Kwankwasor alliance would have been a big problem for APC, but greed and braggadocios was the problem of the opposition. The election was not rigged, I never expected APC to lose |

igwebuike01: See this olodo. Which restructuring are you talking about? Are the federating units not still going to Abuja to share money? I don't get into unnecessary social media banter, just to explain a point to someone. I am too matured for that. |
Politics › Re: The 25% Of Votes In The FCT Common Sense Saga by Wainey: 7:44pm On Sep 07, 2023 |

So you aren't seeing the restructuring going on in the country? |

BoldBrainz: One of my problems with nairaland users!
Y'all somehow expect to put up opinions that will go unchallenged, and when other users make informed efforts to have lucid conversations with you, you term it arguments, as if the other party should be so dumb or timid to swallow whatever you put out here.
Whether Zulum proclaimed he isn't a politician or otherwise, it doesn't change the fact that he's currently the Executive Governor of a Nigerian state, a full time political office, which makes him a politician for the duration of his office. A politician despite having a political office, also Chases politics as a career. Zulum has said he has no interest in chosing politics as a career and won't want another office after this, he is an Agric engineer who became governor by some twist of faith, he is different from Jonathan. Do u understand what I said or we should just forget this discussion? |
Politics › Re: Who Is Your pick For 2031? by Wainey: 7:18pm On Sep 07, 2023 |
BoldBrainz: Goodluck Jonathan became a governor by happenstance and often touted the same sentiment about not being a politician. But he went on to occupy Aso rock for 6years. His emergence as Yaradua's vice in 2007 even, was as a stroke of luck when Donald Duke rebuffed the option of deputising Umaru. no be everything I dey argue with person. I am too matured for that |

BoldBrainz: He's not a politician but he's the Governor of Borno State. Is the gorvernorship seat not a political one..😂? I am only quoting what he said. He said he is not a politician and becoming a governor for him was just a coincidence rather than the normal political fights |

GeneralPula: Somebody is presently a Governor and you claim he’s not a politician..
Haha you’re a comedian bro.. You should try and Google how he became a governor. He said it himself that he is not a politician and became a governor by coincidence, he also said he is not interested in having a career in politics nor vying for any higher political post. |
Politics › Re: Who Is Your pick For 2031? by Wainey: 6:46pm On Sep 07, 2023 |
BoldBrainz: Babagana Zulum.
He's liked enough in the North to court absolute support. And if you put him in the ballot alongside other names, enlightened Southerners will effortlessly vote for him. His likeness for education and human capital development is only rivaled by Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Zulum is not a politician, I doubt he will have any interest in becoming a president |

DMerciful: The law is the law. After the Supreme Court judgement, lets change it to 37 states so there is no confusion. The NASS can amend the constitution Thats true, Abuja people should be considered legitimate Nigeria while the rest of us should be lesser Nigerians. They can singl handedly decide who becomes the president |
