I took a different route today in my research and instead of my usual checking and checking, I decided to post this plausible hunch. Early American history is quite muddled with racism, Blacks were only slaves, the usual propaganda. Yet I find that not only were there Black presidents before Barack Obama but several of them. How is this so? Because the truth of the matter is that Early America wasn't all White masters and Black slaves, in fact some Whites were held as slaves too. 5 years indebted slavery was required by all slaves both Blacks and Whites, some who had been criminals sent to work in America as indentured slaves as sentencing. There were also many Native Americans who were actually Africans, many of the Native Americans bare striking resemblance to African features. Thirdly, Afro-Europeans, as it comes out many Africans were living in European just as they are today, yet these Africans were living in nobility, which means high class, and some even living as the ruling authority of royalty.
When we take a look at President George Washington's past it points back to African nobles of European and Black Vikings, sometimes called Celts. Paul Church, M.D., is a veteran urologist who has been on the staff of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (“BIDMC”) in Boston for nearly 30 years. BIDMC, which is also a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, has been ranked for many years as a “Best Hospital” by U.S. News & World Report, and is described as “one of the nation’s preeminent academic medical centers, committed to providing excellence in clinical care, teaching, research and community outreach.” Dr. Church, as a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty, has conducted extensive research on prostate and bladder cancer. He has also offered his medical training and skills to the poor on numerous occasions during volunteer mission trips to Mexico and Africa. However, Dr. Church has now been terminated from BIDMC. What was his crime? According to BIDMC, he violated “established standards of professional conduct” by using BIDMC’s information system “to communicate . . . unsolicited views about homosexuality that were offensive to BIDMC staff.” As a result, BIDMC President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kevin Tabb wrote the following to Dr. Church in late March, “The [Medical Executive Committee] has recommended imposition of disciplinary action, in the form of revocation of your appointment to the Medical Staff.”
Dr. Church’s “crimes” began eleven years ago. After receiving an announcement involving BIDMC’s support for an LGBTQ+?-related event, he responded with the following:
The evidence is irrefutable that behaviors common within the homosexual community are unhealthy and high risk for a host of serious medical consequences, including STD’s, HIV and AIDS, anal cancer, hepatitis, parasitic intestinal infections, and psychiatric disorders. Life expectancy is significantly decreased as a result of HIV/AIDS, complications from the other health problems, and suicide. This alone should make it reprehensible to the medical community, who has an obligation to promote and model healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
Emphasis added. In April 2012, Dr. Church requested that BIDMC’s communications department not send him any further notices regarding LGBTQ+? activities. However, his request was ignored. Thereafter, Dr. Church continued to receive an ever-increasing number of emails and notices affirmative of the LGBTQ+? lifestyle. In response to one such email, the pesky Dr. Church wrote the following:
Celebrating sexual perversions is highly inappropriate, especially in the context of a medical center that should be aware of the negative health consequences of high risk behaviors. It also ignores and dishonors the religious convictions and moral objections that many members of the hospital community share who are opposed to these behaviors.
It is foreseeable that, in addition to Dr. Church and a few other devout Christian believers, there could also be an Orthodox Jew or two who serve as physicians or other medical staff at Beth Israel DMC who might object to homosexual behaviors.
We don’t hear much about the HIV/AIDS epidemic anymore. When was the last time you read an article either online or in a newspaper of general circulation, or saw a report on a television news program about HIV/AIDS? And yet, with no media attention or public fanfare, Mr. Obama’s proposed 2016 federal budget requests almost $32 billion for HIV/AIDS treatment and research, an increase of 3.1% over the prior year. Notwithstanding the Supreme Court’s recent decision finding a fundamental, constitutional “right” to homosexual and lesbian “marriage,” there is a deeply dark and dangerous side to today’s American homosexuality. Since the first cases of what would later become known as AIDS were reported in the United States in June of 1981, more than 1.8 million people in the U.S. are estimated to have been infected with HIV, of whom 658,507 have already died. Today, the Centers for Disease Control (“CDC”) estimates that more than 1,218,400 people aged 13 years and older are living with HIV/AIDS in the United States. Of those, tragically, the CDC estimates that almost 1 in 8 (156,300 or 12.8%) are unaware of their infection. Homosexual and bisexual men who have sex with men, particularly young African-American men, continue to be the most seriously affected by HIV/AIDS. Over the past decade, approximately 50,000 people are newly infected annually. In 2013, the CDC estimated that 47,352 people were diagnosed with HIV infection, and an additional 26,688 people were diagnosed with full-blown AIDS in the United States. Younger black men accounted for 45% of all new HIV infections among African-Americans, and 55% of new HIV infections among all younger homosexual and bisexual men.
