sonnel: Goodday to you all my fellow nairalanders, information they say is an asset. There's a new technic adopted by some gang of 419 flashing people's phone and when you call back. They will say one of your friends, relatives or colleagues just had an accident at Ibadan express way that the person is with them but they don't have air-time to reach family members that you should MTN card.
Pls disregard it cos they are only after your card. This is one of the numbers 0+7+0+3+334+2334. Just call the number and tell the person that you saw his missed calls. He will start telling you stories about accidents
Someone in authority must track these criminals and bring them to book before they give someone High Blood Pressure thinking that something serious has happened to their relatives.
None of ouR family members will die by accident this Mber month in Jesus Name, Amen. Amen Thanks for info |

brainiac007: I'm an ex-banker. I resigned exactly a year ago after 5 years and I'm so so glad I did.
Working as a marketer at the bank was the most depressing, demeaning and frustrating experience I've ever had.
Today, I look back and think, "Why didn't I leave sooner?". Now I have peace of mind and in a job I absolutely enjoy when compared to the bank job and family life has never been better.
Once I was blind, now I can see! #Motivated |

Linus4get: I graduated from Uniben for 6years now with no job. I manage to get a good paying and mouth watering job through my sister's friend. The manager employed me in proxy of the CEO, in which the CEO will be back to the firm nextweek. Set him up. Make a voice recording of him making the sex request with your phone and still decline his request. If the CEO eventually sacks you, try to see him after and give him the recording. Even if it won't get you the job back, it might save others. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Got A Job - Here's My Testimony by walearoy(m): 2:19pm On Oct 01, 2015 |
phabulous88: Prior to August 2015, I never thought I'd loose my job because I am well educated and always met my KPIs. But then I lost my job and had to start looking for a new one. I joined an online job portal, did a lot of cold calling, attended series of interviews but nothing was forthcoming.
By mid August, I changed my strategy and started searching for firms online by using industry specific keywords. For example, I'll go to Google and type ' Associate Information Technology Consultancy South Africa Nigeria LinkedIn' and I'll get a list of LinkedIn profiles of professionals in the industry. I'll then peruse their LinkedIn profiles for the companies they are working for or for companies they have worked for. Thereafter, I'll visit the company's website for information on the kind of services they offer.
I was doing this one Saturday evening and found out that a company in VI was recruiting. I sent in my CV immediately but I wasn't satisfied. Fast forward to Monday morning, I drove to their office in VI and requested to meet the M.D. After about 6 hours of waiting, I was able to meet the M.D for about 2 minutes, and that 2 minutes changed my story. I was scheduled for a formal interview and before the ministerial list could get to the Senate president, I got a job offer.
I'll be resuming work on 5th October 2015 and I'm so so thankful to God for this opportunity. I pray that God will bless any Nairalander looking for a job with a job that brings fulfillment and happiness. Amen
Lessons learnt: 1) information is power - the Internet has loads of information that one can exploit, use the right keywords to get more information. Also, do a thorough research about the company you're applying to 2) Follow up - if I hadn't gone to their office and requested that I met with the M.D, I'll probably will still be searching for a job 3) Network - by spreading your tentacles in the right direction, you are more likely to get your dream job than those who do only online job portals. I did speak to trusted friends and got a couple of interview invites through their friend's friend's brother's cousin's fiancée 4) Keep developing yourself - I did a lot of research and learnt a couple of skills this period. No knowledge is a waste 5) Pray - Ah! I prayed o! But don't spend your whole day in the church, go out!
6) Save - I don't need to say much on this #Motivated |

dudkko: Good day guys. Please i will like somebody to help me out how i can access my Late Dad fund in the bank. i keep on getting the alert of payment into his account since his demise. What are the steps to take so that the bank will not deny us children the fund. Please your advise is seriously needed. He died over a year ago. i appreciate every contribution. Thanks. Sorry for the loss Its quite simple based on the bank 1. Know the balance and account number 2. Get a lawyer who would help process a letter of administration for you and another member of the family as agreed by the family. 3.Approach a bank preferably the bank your dad used to open an Estate account with required documents needed by the bank. 4. Request the funds be transferred to the estate account. Another person can pls add more insight |
