Hmmm. See what an oil dependent economy can do. Let go of your security vote and add to what you have. Half bread is better than puff-puff |

This is how lame and incapacitated a government can be. Terrible advisers lurking around the president with laughable ideas to sink the opposition. You don't want to use this method and think it will run down your opposition this way @ the 11th hour when loads of us have decided. Recently, I hardly get tempted to tune to AIT or NTA, because mostly what they churn out now ain't longer professional. Making mess of the journalism profession. I don't know how life will be for (especially) AIT when GMB wins this election. Many careers would be on line. Life must go on after the general elections, but posterity will not forgive us if we don't effect the right CHANGE. God bless Nigeria |
I just saw this on CNN. A Germanwings flight 9525, carrying Germans, Spaniards and Turkish, from Barcelona to Duesseldorf crashed at French Alps. 150 feared dead. RIP to the dead

Very unfortunate. The killings in the North-East seems to have eroded the empathy our leaders have for the lives of her citizens. Afterall many are killed daily and no one gives a hoot. It boils down to defect in our value system. It could have been the daughter of Fashola or the son of Jonathan who was hit by the stray bullet. Would they have treated this with kid gloves? Yeah the bandits won't go unpunished but the government has to stand up to its responsibilities. It goes beyond party affiliation. Rip Sarah |
Ifayiose! I can't help but to laugh at the comments of this man whose soul is tied to this general elections. If GMB should win the presidential election, Fayose would definitely be a goner. He has been talking from both sides of his mouth, decimating the office of the governor. Too heady a man |
Welcome boys. |
So painful am not watching the match. But don't think they are as 'lethal and coordinated' as when they played @ the Under -17 world cup 2 years ago. Saw few of their matches. All the best lads |
All English teams bundled out! So pathetic |
The boys are good to win the trophy. Weldone! |
barcanista:If no run-off, then someone will win via a landslide. From the look of things, its apparent who the electorates will vote for. As for Oyo state, Ajimobi didn't win in Ogbomoso, lager part of Ibadan and even @ Oke-Ogun in 2011, when they were only 3 in the race then. Now we have 5 major contenders. What do you think? No one is going to win all the 11 local councils in Ibadan. They will win in their respective strongholds. Oke-Ogun is divided Bro. As well as Oyo. Don't be surprised Ajimobi will get the required 25% in each council. As for Ogun, SIA is a bomb, waiting to explode. I pass through Ogun state virtually every week. SIA has the grassroot to himself. |
barcanista:I understand you fully. The sympathy GEJ got from electorates in 2011 has taken its flight to the doorstep of GMB. You don't want to give GEJ a landslide. I possibly see a run-off (if GMB doesn't win) in presidential election. Osoba is wasting his time in Ogun. SIA one is a performer and I can tell you categorically that the SDP and PDP men are no match for him. Ajimobi of Oyo will bank on the split in the PDP. A lot of divided votes amongst them(PDP,LP,SDP AP) with APC having a slight edge. I live there. Not a print or electronic media analysis. Bro let's be factual. This wind of CHANGE is blowing massively. We will get THERE one day, with better institutions |
Write-off APC @ your own peril. Why did the South-West (except Osun) vote GEJ(PDP) massively in 2011 on a saturday of the presidential election for them to turn around to vote in Fashola,Amosun,Ajimobi (APC) on the day of the governorship elections. This research doesn't hold water. PDP has had close to 16 years. We need something different and better. We ain't a one party state! Since 1999, this would be the first time the ruling party is catching severe cold. Give the opposition a CHANCE for CHANGE! |
Goal scorers pls |
CIV bursting our bubbles since U~17 AYC 2013 |
6 first class? That's damn too few ! Wishing them the best |
Amaju Pinnick's NFF is doing fine by remodelling the image of Nigerian football. Thumbs up Enyeama. |
If this story is anything to go by, then, you dont expect to get a credible result if all you are out to do is witch~hunt the opposition. Doing the right thing at the wrongest time! |
I'm always thrown aback by the performances of Governors who end up securing a second term in office. So far, only selected few have been able to prove the mandate given to them by the electorates. The recent lacklustre attitude to governance by Aregbe and Suswam is quite unfortunate. Their inability to pay the public workforce in their domain speaks volume of how these politicians,if given a second term could do. They don't care any longer whose ox is gored, afterall, that will be their final term. Former governors; Gbenga Daniel of Ogun,Danjuma Goje of Gombe, Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia to mention a few all had fine first terms in their respective offices. The last straw that broke the camel's back was the second term offices they secured. Governors Fashola of Lagos and Akpabio of Akwa~Ibom really know their onions. They have been able to prove to us, to a very large extent, that they deserved the second term mandate accorded to them. I still imagine how Theodore Orji of Abia was voted in the second time to steer the wheels at the Umuahia government house. He has no business in governance. Most of us screamed Oshio Baba, when his mandate was stolen at the polls in Edo. Now replaced and even in his second term in office, the momentum with which he started his first term, has nose dived downhill. Some of them have left the business of governance to following their preside ntial candidates in and out of the country with reckless abandon. Do they really deserve a second term? |
The 'gates of ISIS' shall not prevail in Nigeria. If not for the prayers of the saints (Spiritual) and the unrelenting efforts of the Nigerian Army (physical), the blood suckers would have advanced more than this. We are just like the 'biblical David', who did a lot of wrong stuffs, yet God had mercy on him. The time for God's mercy is now ! We wont be consumed in this mess. Throwing banters will not do us any good. Nigeria is above APC & PDP. Make constructive criticism. # God save Nigeria |
How does the statement (if true) of one person represent the opinion of the Yoruba nation? I know any tribal bigot will get excited about this thread. We have left that age where we would be pointing accusing fingers to each other, promoting your tribe above others. Ego driven and centered tribal bigots (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba) will always beat their chest with reckless abandon neglecting the course of humanity. Grow up fellas! |
GEJ has never shown to us to be in charge. The PDP as a party has failed in most promises made over 15 years. The major opposition today isn't a saint. Nigeria under PDP should not be allowed to continue another 4 years in Aso Rock. We're no One party state. I strongly believe the APC has something to offer, but if after 4years they perform worse then we could try other viable opposition. We cant expect a different result or positive CHANGE, if we continue this way. #God save Nigeria# |
bettercreature:Mr Know everything, these teams are without class. No cutting edge. Nothing special about their style of play. Chelsea is out. You cant find PSG in final either. Refer to this comment when the final stage is set |
Bad day for Chelsea....they played badly. Now may be on their way out |
femi4:What do you call that? Luck! Not all the time. Wasn't expecting much from both teams anyway |
Both teams not fit for final...imagine them facing Bayern or Barca. End of first half of extra time |
Both teams not fit for final...imagine them facing Bayern or Barca |
Hazard on point.....ball to .hand...wuruwuru |
Rubbish match...not interesting at all. Extra time yeye |
safarigirl:That's not fair enough. We didn't see much of him @ the U~17 world cup 2years ago due to injury |
So impressive. Is Isaac Success on Bench? Awoniyi has got a lot of goal sense...Next generation of Super Eagles |
Its good these guys are a high scoring side unlike Super Chickens |
