So Fayose could fidget like this? He had the opportunity to treat the Legislators well when he was sworn in, since their days were numbered but he threw caution to the wind with reckless abandon. If he escapes this,he should thank his star |
A wonderful beginning.

This woman was at her best before GEJ declared his aspiration to run, but afterwards, she lost the professionalism and joined the PDP bandwagon after a lot of cash that flew around. From an insider, who works in the Abuja office, the colleagues where surprised that she could exchange her 'birthright ' for PDPs 'bowl of porridge'. Since then my respect for this woman nose dived. We don't have strong institutions yet. Personalities are holding the ace. |
The walls of PDP are tumbling down. A party without purpose but to plunder. A party without vision but of vices. Washing their dirty, stinking and rotten linen is not unexpected after the shocking defeat at the polls. Fayose is well known for his derogatory remarks about people who are not on the same frequency with him. Muazu.is a decent man with startling records in Bauchi as a former Governor which Fayose can never beat. A pig destiny does not fall short of dirt, stop pulling others to your rofofofo.politics. Present evidence,or forever remain silent (which he can't lailai!) |
That is when U are bent on watching Chelsea vs Man U instead of Kano Pillars vs Eyimba. You pay more. Our stadia are empty today all because of DSTV showing this Oyinbo league, yet Sunshine defeated Heartland at home last week by 3 goals to nil. Our league has improved. Stop paying DSTV 15k per month without any economic advantage *"Modified* Let indigeneous satallite TVs upgrade and give DSTV a run for their money. |
After subjecting the masses to untold hardship. Some strikes dont really worth it. |
Weak laws. Majority of the Law makers are corrupt. They know it will boomerang if they make harsh laws. You wouldn't expect miracle when these laws are interpreted by the judiciary. Our institutions are damn too weak. |
otemanuduno:99.9 per cent virgins? Oh you don't want to tell me that there were no women of easy virtues during the days of Moses! A lot existed then, for your info, go read Numbers 25:1-18. Indonesia just like any other nation have a problem with their value system. If they don't address the issue at the foundation level, they will just continue to spiral in a circle. You can never tell what a reformed drug pusher could be. I value the sanctity of life. #Dispensation of Grace - |
This method is crude as much as I condemn drug~pushers. If they are really getting results with this their death penalty they wouldnt be having predominant cases of drug carriers parading their domain. They should device smarter ways of curbing the abnormality. Death sentence is archaic! Whatever happened to life imprisonment |
I saw this coming. I had said it in this forum that AIT was being unprofessional about their 'hate broadcast' and could mar the the brand they have built over the years, just for the sake of 'gratification'. Its still like a dream to Dokpesi that GMB is the president~elect. He never gave him the chance of winning, if he had, he wouldn't have brought his media house to this mess. A lesson to us all. "Never say never" |
This PSG has nothing to offer. I said it when they played Chelsea. They lack depth. No game plan. That David Luiz should be loaned to Warri Wolves. £50 million pounds my foot |
If he is eventually declared the winner in this suit filed against him by the APC, Fayose should thank his stars and face the business of governance in Ekiti The APC had gone to the tribunal and court of appeal respectively to challenge Fayose's eligibility to contest as the governor of Ekiti state having being impeached on 16th October,2006. Though the APC lost out in their bid to unseat Fayose, however, the highest court of the land will be delivering the final judgement on the suit. Will Fayose survive this hammer today at the Apex court ? |
Not unexpected to see this thread turn to Igbo vs Yoruba bigots arena. Election was declared inconclusive, fine, why the senseless attack and bigotry? Una no they tire? Okorocha is winning this Guber election. Couldn't believe he could hold Ihedioha to standtill as he did 4 years ago. Kudos to him. |
sketcherJ:Seems you don't understand the nitty-gritty of how the polity is structured. What informed your opinion of '80 % not being happy'? As much as you have the right to express your grievances, let it be clear to you that the electorates have spoken and being an arm chair critic won't be productive. Be constructive and stop being bitter about a broken egg. Be involved and stop being a pessimist. |
What is this OP saying about majority not being excited? Ajimobi is not @ the same level with his contenders. He is better by far. He may not have done excellently well, he has another four years to fix the education sector, complete on going projects , improve the welfare of the people in the state and devise smart ways of increasing the IGR of the state. I listened to all of them during the pre-election campaign, his ideas were on point and achievable. Others were as blank as you could imagine, save Seyi Makinde. OP, if he was not wanted on that seat, he would have been booted out just like Akala in 2011. Let's join hands to move the state forward. K'Oyo le da, Ajumose gbogbo wani. |
With 327,310 votes in his kitty , Abiola Ajimobi of APC displaced his closest rival of Accord Party, Senator Rasheed Ladoja with 254,520 votes. He will be the first Governor in the history of Oyo state to be re-elected despite the widespread myth of not being possible to win re-election in the state. Drop your congratulatory message here. |
Rochas has got a lot of definite winning skills. Congrats to him. He shouldn't dissapoint Imolites |
How many local government(s) result(s) should we be awaiting? Can't wait to read the final result. |
Okorocha is a tough guy O. Leading Ihedioha with 84k votes. I hope PDP won't come up with any abracradabra figures. Can PDP overtake him with yet to be declared 6lgs results. Mr Excel posting for us, abeg upload the 6 @ once, this tension is getting high Okorocha is a tough guy O. Leading Ihedioha with 84k votes. I hope PDP won't come up with any abracradabra figures. Results coming from Oyo state have been so dry. Not even sure what it looks like. Baba alankara(Ladoja) must be trailing baba alagidi (Ajimobi) |
Oh my God! This is the 6th thread I will open in this section to check election results. All what I end up reading is tribal bigotry. What is going on in this politics section. All the bigots, una well so? Please stop all this stupid obsession. Anyway who is leading? Ambo or JK? |
Lai Moh'd said GEJ is coming to rig the governorship election in Lagos in favour of Agbaje. Reuben Abati said Lai Moh'd got it wrong, that the outgoing President visit so far is a 'private' one. What do you think the outgoing President is up to in the commercial nerve centre of the nation, with this visit at this crucial time? |
Femi Gbajabiamila is the man for the job. Forget zoning. See this; Salisu Buhari( Speaker) - Atiku Abubakar (VP) Ghali Umar Na'Abba (Speaker)- Atiku (VP) Aminu Bello Masari (Speaker)- Atiku (VP) Aminu Tambuwal ( Speaker)- Sambo (VP) All from the North.Don't ask me if. Its North East , North West or North Central. So nothing stops Uncle Femi from occupying that slot. He is very competent |
I subscribe to that position from Jega on tenure elongation. To some clamouring for Jega to be appointed as EFCC chair or head of any Ministry or Agency, I think GMB will goof if he tries to do that. Many will see it (especially PDP) as a favour in return for 'handing over' the presidential seat to him He should go back to the classroom and continue what he knows how to do best |
Underrate Ajimobi @ your own peril. What is the jinx all about? He may not have performed excellently well, but his style of governance surpasses all other past governors of the state Oyo has always been 'unlucky' with the men that govern it, but it seems this time the electorates are getting it right. Akala of Labour is unelectable(that is what you know). Tessy isn't loved by even his own @ Ona-ara, Baba Alankara (Ladoja) should be a King maker, Seyi Makinde can go ahead to prove his popularity towards 2019. The election will be very close. No landslide win for the "5", but I tip Ajimobi. |
Gani Adams must be seriously regretting his action by now. Where are the 6million voters promised by Gani Adams from the OPC kitty? My question now is; will GMB sustain the controversial 9bn Naira contract offered by the outgoing President,GEJ, to OPC in order to protect our pipelines? |

If they like, they should lose for all I care. This team hasn't been impressive nor patriotic |
