When I was young, I remember we have this Christmas event they always do in St Anne’s in Molete Ibadan. You have lot and lot of children that come there to celebrate and you have people give them gifts and throw parties. That time, we have lot of people but it is an open field so the space is okay to contain people.

I will blame the organizers of this event, they should have used a location that can contain people if you’re trying to do this kind of outreach. There is nothing bad in gifting children during Christmas, but you have to ensure safety as an organizer and I hope Oyo government hold them to this.
