HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR POST UTME
COMPOSITE
Ur Jamb score carries 50%, hence ur jamb score
is divided by 8. Ur O level carries 20%: It is
calculated
using the 5 core subjects.
A1-6points
B2-5
B3-4
C4-3
C5-2
C6-1
The total points is then mutiplied by 2/3.
Ur Post utme score is multiplied by 0.3
Example: If i had 210 in Jamb and my O level
goes thus. Mth-B3, chm-C4, bio- B2, eng-C5,
phy-C6, eco-B3, geo-A1 and i had 58% in the
post utme. To calculate his composite, this' how
it's done.
Jamb score divided by 8 i.e
210/8=26.25
For the O level, only 5 subjects (mth, eng, chm,
bio, and phy) are needed. There i have
mth-b3-4points
Eng-C5-2point
Chm-C4-3points
Bio-B2-5points
Phy-C6-1point
Total net points for O level=
4+2+3+5+1=15. This score is then
multiplied by 2/3 i.e 15 x 2/3=10.
my post utme score is multiplied by 0.3. I.e 58
x 0.3=17.4
Therefore, my composite is the sum of these
3 scores I.e Jamb+O'level+post utme. That is
26.25+10+17.4=53.65
Hence, My composite is 53.65

u cn only do d first step which is to divide ur jamb score by 8... wateva u get is ova 50... coz jamb takes 50% of d composite score. But what i'l say is dat d ongoing stryk is likely goin to serve as an advantage for u guys.. coz d result myt even be releasd b4 funaab's post utme unlyk last yr wen abt 3000 students had been admitd even b4 d release of waec results

u'r on d brighter side... just finish d last lap... ur current composite is 44.83 (very gud one)) if u cn get abt 50 in ur post utme, dat wil make ur composit approximately 60. wit dis, i personally cn say dat u'r already admittd. gud luk bro

U cnt get d actual figur f d ppl rytin d xam until it is written coz even if u use jamb's statistics, u cnt tel d no of ppl dat changd their institution of choice to funnab after jamb reaults were releasd bt if i am to guess, i'd say 30,000 plus.. coz d cut off was set at 180
