Was a terrible sight to behold.

Thank God he was unharmed!

Even my Red MI 9C is doing the same thing. I took it to the service center near cash and carry at computer village since it's still under warranty. I was told it would be ready in 5 working days. I was so disappointed because my phone was flashed without my permission without being told it would be and I lost ample information on it. They said they changed the panel. And so had to wipe everything.
Secondly, the screen has started doing the same thing again. I can't wait to sell this phone. I'm so disappointed. Never had this issue with the earlier Red MI 4 series.

Wait o, is it not Redmi that exploded or so.

Why will I wanna risk my life for a device which is unsafe.

Just go for Camon17Pro and be safe.

probably that's your experience but I've never had that issue. And I've also used a Xiaomi Redmi note 4 before and the camera depreciated over time.
