My neighbour had first hand experience a week ago at one of the service stations in Wuse 2.
He was somehow lucky to noticed it immediately as his car started jerking after the refill. That's what saved his Benz 17 fuel pump.

He call the attention of the station manager to it & the manager who's already aware of the anomaly blamed it on the attendants for not allowing the PMS to settled after offload before retail discharge.
He apologized & explained the unfortunate circumstance to my neighbour stating that most marketers buy from illegal bunckers lately to maximize profit. So unfortunate & pathetic.

The manager was saying what he don't know.......the truth of the matter is that the import petrol was the problem. Nothing like illegal bunckered fuel. Everything is coming from NNPC imported mother vessel. The product is not ok.
