Glithronix:That's 44k net in a day. It's fair. |
Shimmaa:In addition to what Doris4ever said, no road side parking's pls, only use approved parkings. When you take riders to the airport, just drop off, don't pick riders anywhere around or within the airport, not even airport road except airport park where you will be charged per hour. Always look up for one way routes especially yaba. Don't outsmart vehicles while traffic is moving gradually, you might be held for illegal change of lane. Hotspots for pick ups on mainland. Ikeja City Mall and environs, Unilag, Yaba, Shomolu, Ojodu berger, Magodo, shangisha, ketu ikosi, Simbiat Abiola way. Let me add Festac and alimosho sha Don't park anywhere around Governors office, mind the do not turn signage there too. When you get an order from there, let the security guys know somewhere order you from inside. Avoid orders going towards Ikorodu, Magboro, Ibafo, Ilupeju, Gbagada express. You might not be lucky to get anoder rider from those locations back to metropolis, hence waste of fuel. Avoid any Otta destination no matter how juicy the offer lol. If police ask if you are a uber, pls identify yourself as I driver. It saves lives. They understand from that perspective that you are an hustler. If being held by police men and you were faulty, plead all you can but if not accepted, negotiations shouldnt be more than 5k Lastma, negotiations 20k CBD negotiations 10k when taken to their office 15k VIO less than 10k but pray make you no jam dem. They can stop you for a document you have and ticket you for another irrelevant document you shouldn't have. All to extort. Learn to use the Google map. Always use the express way. Avoid Mobalaji Bank Anthony way in the late evening. All the best. |
2RightHands1Coc:Lol About the maintenance level, it's inevitable. But I'm sure you've generated lot more than the 45k you spent on the car today. Where the pain is coming from is spending such amnt at once in a single day. ![]() |
The couple I drove this morning to ikeja Bought me chicken pie and still gave me 1000 extra. I was blown and felt guilty at the same time when I dropped them. I should have used the AC. Such act of kindness left me waoed. God bless those couple wherever they are. Meanwhile, with this current fuel rate. I no dey gree see surge rides on bolt again. The rate whey dey come sef no dey worth am after removing their commission. No difference btw indrive rate and bolt 1.2surge rate. What if there was no surge. Hell poor. I go come dey negotiate upon down for indrive , the negotiations were worth it shaOmo!!!! |
https://x.com/TheObiLeonard/status/1851286720328974661?t=zq85vzYE_6FtYwBVPY0YqQ&s=19 Read this thread I came across on twitter and it's funny comment. From Lekki to Surulere.

Judolisco:Now you buy 1200 - 1300 |
PressMyButton:What are the factors that are making the fuel prices to increase every three market days? |
Barbiturate:Fola agoro |
Fuel at NNPC now #1025 |
knyte:It's quiet worrying, this fuel ish. Last time I was at ibadan, fuel was 1150. Same range with some places within lagos. You can get riders contact and slimly discuss and negotiate with them as regards taking them to their destination when your services are needed, some would give in. |
Omoapena:I get you chief Where I'm driving towards is if they do price Leveraging according to the PMS rate, riders will still pay and drivers will be make substantial profit. Even they themselves will make more from their commission. They are there claiming to fight riders injustice. |
Omoapena:Everywhere no block oo Yes there is traffic but not static Some of indrive increase in fare pass bolt surge Bolt 1.6surge whey wan carry me go ogba from igbobi for 12100, same destination was 15000 on indrive |
Which rider will see this and still want to do an offline trip.
|
It's today I notic3d that Indrive management are a very very very wicked set of people. The increase in fare this evening and riders were willing to pay. Imagine seeing ikorodu from unilag that used to be btw 7000 to 8500. Tonight it was 20000, 22000 and riders were will to pay. I just finished a ride of less than 5km for 6400. Shomolu to ikeja 11,000 and these people will accept even if you increase to 13000. Indrive management are just wicked set of people, if they adjust their fare riders will still pay. My conclusion. |
Barbiturate:Road was actually free They've finished road construction |
dav1002: ![]() ICM to Bariga 8500 on indrive Currently running on the trip on offline |
Why are rides fare always on high sides whenever it's raining? |
Glithronix:Share tips on your indrive experience What kind of trips request you accept? How much you make on a 20 ltrs of fuel purchase How many hours driving time in a day Other tips for peeps to learn not just telling them to master indrive at all time. Indrive riders are nuts. |
knyte:I did in ibadan like 6mnths ago when I was instruc3d by my company to go oversee some offloadings around Ring road. I seize the weekends to run on bolt, ibadans are not so familiar with indrive yet. I did lots of trips, From New Garage to Akobo, akobo to Iwo Road, i went as far as Moniya. I did at akala express and elebu too. I made lots of profit then as there was no traffic, fuel then was 568 I think. No police stopped me, no VIO, no single law agencies. Rides comes in before I finish the current. Ibadan was sweet then, don't know about now. I used AC, most riders knew I wasn't from Ibadan stating ibadan drivers will never use AC. There's this baba I picked from Top one garden bar new garage to ire akari estate, he requested that I wait and take him back to top one. I did and he said I should come in to take 1bottle . It was fun then sha.I took some ladies from lead city, they asked if I can come pick then anytime they need my services, I told them I came in for a purpose. My riding experience there was worthwhile. I entered one estate for akobo, the guy just rear me money as per say I waited outside foodco akobo for almost 20mins before he cones out to meet me. How is bolt seevices and its profit making at ibadan now? |
PMS rate is gradually increasing... Make I rush set up my pig farm and leave Bolt and indrive for you all. This private job sef wan bend person, na so so aboniki I dey use rub my back every night. Eyes dey pain me sef. |
BAZ001:You see that ikorodu Na no go area for drivers unless you want to spend the rest of your day there. You will n3ed to move towards agric or owode onirin before you get a ride back into mainland or ikeja that's if one is lucky. Else you go back on empty. |

Gentlelife50:He just credited me with lots of apologies. I will give someone else another chance. ![]() |
ksmart027:Make I see as tomorrow go be I like to give people benefit of doubt, like anything could have happened. Money he was expecting could be delayed. Responding to his call would have calmed me a bit. I wasn't violent throughout the phone conversation. I no want make hin shock me sha ![]() |
Omoapena:This thing sweet to talk oo hmmnnn For how long would you accommodate him. Knowing the terrain and short cuts and identifying places within Lagos without using the map might take him nothing less than 4mnths with frequent trips. He must almost fall victim of Lastma and VIO being a new bie. |
Guys I think I have been scammed I took someone on a ride of 15k. Agreed the bf will do the transfer when she gets there, bf also assured. We arriv3d at destination, waited abit bf said someone wants to reimburse him, he's waiting that he would credit me soon. I don't want to harras the lady because she spoke calmly and I couldn't wait any longer, she also assured that I have her number that I can reach out to her if otherwise. Dude kept calling and assuming me that he will make the transfer as soon as he gets credited. I was running late for a programme, I had to take his words. Since 12:30pm that I completed the trip till now, I have not been credited. He picked my calls till he stopped picking anymore, the lady didn't even pick at all. I'm giving them till tomorrow evening, I have gotten their names through their opay accts. Na their pictures remain, I will be petty again this time around. It was an offline trip. My personality makes me trust people easily. I know the guys house at surulere which is the pick up point. I'm not even motivated to go there. Before I conclude that Nigerians are not good people. I will wait till tomorrow to see if I will get credited. |
Omoapena:I think it's because of the turnovers and profit being generated from Lagos. Reason why they pay attention more to Lagos drivers and tend to increase riders fare. My thought. |
Jacksonfire:This is where you were driving towards. The thing is, bolt drivers in Lagos can't speak for Bolt drivers in Benin. There's always this unison and several sending of mails and report on bolt apps lagos bolt drivers do whenever there's an increase in fuel prices which is not being effected on the the app. Benin drivers need to speak up and send several mails before the changes can be effected in their region. |
dapotemi:What's the thing with Lagos riders and AC request, like they really want to get value for the token they are paying. They love to request for the AC they never have and enjoyed in their homes. My switching on of AC is based on request unless it's a harsh weather that will make me and my riders extremely uncomfortable. Reason why I avoid afternoon trips. |
Omoapena:No Just the Spark plug valve compartment. Dem no touch engine |
Doris4ever:Will do |
Omoapena:Same with mine Two plugs out of 4 gets wet. I was told they will open the valve cover and seal from beneath to avoid the oil leakage to where the plugs are. They did, after 2mnths same happened, oil have entered the plugs compartment again. It doesn't smoke sha |
