So, it all turns out to be bad news..... We were told our twins stopped breathing. Doctor can't explained what went wrong.. They keep saying they are sorry. We started buying their things already and this is happening, I don't know if God is still alive or on vacation. I taught nothing can stop His work. My dh can't get over it, doctors are so scared to let us home cos we could do anything to ourselves. Don't know how to deal with this, it's just too much for me....... They both measured 14 weeks and 4 days, it means they both died yesterday. Hmmmm

tjskii: Hiy mummyz,ow body,my 2month old developed cough o,took him to d clinic and was given cough mixture and erythromicine. Dis was now wat I had a problem with,d drugs given are d type given to olderkids,just dt d dosage I'm to giv d baby is smaller,I wud av been happier if I was given infant cough syrup and erytromicine(then I wud be sure they had babies in mind wen making it),I called up 2oda docs to confirm and they said d drugs werr ok to giv d baby,went on d internet to do research and evrything I found out was against d use of coughmedicine in infants below 3mnths,I'm just confused,thinkin of stopping d coughmedicine,

Please ma(s) my son is going to be 2weeks on tuesday and my concern is that is cord hasn't fallen off,mayb I don't need to be so worried but I just want to be sure he is ok,cause my first son cord fell of on the 7th day,please what do you all think?

Secondly he has jaundice,doctor says it isn't much and he has undergone a phototeraphy for 3 days,he is eating very well and has no fever,I take him out for the early morning sun and I was thinking it will go of immediately after the photo section but I can still see it. Please am I getting too worried?

omogemi: i gave 5mls 2ce daily. Yes it made her eat n she started adding weight although it ws a gradual process. D b.co ws prescribed by her doc. He also told me to switch to wellkid when d b.co finished. Wellkid is from 3mths to 5yrs.
Pls talk to ur doc b4 u give her any drug.
Also, during dt phase, she ws teething so its likely ur baby is going thru a particular phase ryt now. Observe her. Try her with different foods. My baby liked beans so i cook it w/o d skin n add carrot, tomatoe, fish to it n when its ready i put butter. She also lykd rice. If ur baby lyks dodo, be adding lil rice or beans or butter or even yolk wit it.
Its a gradual thing my sis. She' ll b fyn.

Jade William: @zibiah.That my collegue is currently on leave&has travelled out of d country so I'm sorry,I can't get al d info 4u frm her.Pls if any mother has experienced d symptoms of ear infection in a baby,pls share/contibute but wot @zinylizzy said is so correct.I only remember sh said her baby was havin ear discharges&nyt fever so sh went 2c d ENT (ear,nose&throat) doctor who told her dat som of her breastmilk was overflowin 2d baby's ear without her knowledge.
Lying down 2breastfeed is not bad cos infancy period can b exhaustin especially if u'r breastfeedin.Just try 2elevate d baby a littl while lyin dwn 2breastfeed.Either wit a pillow or ur upper hand but if ur bosom milk flows 2much,its not advisable 2assume dat position.
It'l b vry advisable 2c ur paediatrician so dat ur fears can b adressed.Goodluck dear

I think d iud is actually d best(though some of my frendz wey dey use am,talk say dia husbandz dey feel d rope and som of d men no lik am),it was wat I actualy planned on using from d begining,only that my doc discouraged me cos I recently had a cs,so d solution for me now is that I'll wait for bout 2mnths(enuf time for d wound to heal) to insert d iud,befor d 2mnths reach,na to find spermicide buy na,belle musnt enter now o
