That's a good point but hear me out.

97% of people already know the score before getting on YouTube. Plus the knowing of the score also brings curiousity about how it went down. If u see Argentina vs Cabo Verde [3-2] u will definitely want to see how the heck Cape Verde scored 2 goals.
Good point, bro

Nigeria U17W vs Benin U17W highlights

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOwEqdzi1Rg
A humble suggestion for your channel, BascoVanVeli. I think it would be wise to stop putting the game score line in the title or thumbnail of your highlights videos.

It creates a "spoiler" effect for people who didn't watch the game and makes you lose viewers as some people wouldn't bother clicking on the video since they have already seen the final scoreline.

If you check the Super-Sports YouTube channel's highlights videos for this WC games, you will see my point. You won't see the game results until you click and watch to the end.

So true another thing I feel Messi is naturally talented while Ronaldo put in lots of work to get to were he is
If you watch Messi recent games both MLS and Argentina last match Messi play highly intelligent game still drop deeps to defend create and all of that even at that age is is just built differently 💯
Exactly

That he still leading Portugal's attack at this WC shows that they are not serious. The guy don sasa
Ronaldo doesn't realize that Messi is a different kind of player from him.

Ronaldo is a CF/ Winger whose style of play typically involved non-stop energetic running on and off the ball and high leaps in the air to finish crosses. Certainly not a job description suitable to a 41 years old man. Even Ronaldo's dribbling and shooting style requires energy and peak fitness. What will he do now that age is catching up with him?

Messi on the other hand, is comfortable playing basically as a No. 10 with young players ahead of him to do the running while he finishes off cutbacks, one-twos and orchestrates play from deep with little or no running required.

Messi has never been a pressing type of player, his game is centered around lurking around the midfield, looking for the perfect space and opportunity to receive the ball and then surge forward. Messi's dribbling style (body feints) requires no energy and appears almost effortless, relying on pure natural instinct. His shots are more finesse and placement than raw power.

This means Messi is naturally built to last much longer than Ronaldo. It's actually a credit to Ronaldo's legendary discipline and fitness routine that he is still able to play at all but he just needs to tell himself the truth.

One key disadvantage of having a star studded squad is that sometimes, you can get the combination wrong.
You just want to play everyone without considering synergy.

Cherki or Zaire in midfield, Mbappe om the left wing and Dembele as false 9 would definitely fair better.

Or Mateta as striker flanked by any of the wingers will be better also.
Everybody is a genius in hindsight. Nothing is wrong with the French line up. Senegal is just too good.

I will say this was a great test. Shows we still have work to do fortifying this team.
It's actually the highest test if you ask me. Portugal is a strong contender for the WC trophy. They've got Mendes, Vitinha, Neves, all current Champions League winners. Plus other elite talent in all departments. And they started their best against us.

Any other African country would have conceded more than 2 without scoring any. In fact, only few European countries can survive this current Portugal.

I hope the Super Eagles agree on a Portuguese jersey sharing plan before the game to avoid the Finidi-Simon situation again on a much bigger scale🤣🤣

Let the players cast lots on who gets the Ronaldo shirt or just concede it to Iwobi as his 100 caps gift😁

Just came across this map of FIFA member countries and how they voted for the host nation for this year's WC. Lot's of interesting points.

— Russia voted for the US despite being in an active war (indirectly) with the US.

— Whole of Africa voted for Morocco (Pan African levels) except the SADC (South Africa and its kid brothers) who decided to sell out.

— Spain is the only major country that chose to abstain from the vote.

— Some European countries like France and Italy voted Morocco. Morocco really went all out this time for them to persuade Europeans to vote against the US in favor of an African country.

All in all, Morocco gave America a good fight for this ticket. They have the money, the infrastructure and now, the clout. Undisputably the Giants of African football at the moment. Should have been Nigeria but.....
