This formation looks pretty solid to me. Iwobi at RW brings the crossing and passing to Osimhen and Lookman, both proven goalscorers. Chukwueze is frankly a minus one and should be used only as a late sub.

Solace Chukwu wrote a very insightful piece analyzing Chelle's tactics. Seems he used a diamond 442 against Rwanda with Chukwueze deployed as a CM and Simon as a CF with Lookman in the no. 10.

Eric Chelle has been utterly rubbish in my opinion.

This win is purely down to Osimhen's individual brilliance.

Judging by yesterday's game, it seems he avoids dribbling and prioritizes passing and movement. Which is pretty much all that we need, really. Lookman or Simon on the left wing can do all the dribbling.

By the way, watching Fulham's last game reminded me of Iwobi's quality. Man is an excellent crosser and cuts back brilliantly.

If we had capable midfielders, I would have suggested we play him on the Right wing like we used to. His crosses and cutbacks from the wings will be perfect for Osimhen and Lookman. Chukwueze can't give you that, he prefers to attempt a dribble to cut in and shoot from his left foot which nine out of ten times, doesn't succeed.

I really think we are wasting Iwobi by forcing him to be a no. 10 or a no. 8.

PS: Bassey really impressed me with his ball-playing possession-football capabilities. Man is improving daily.
