Car Talk / I Need Help Trying To Find Car Fuses(mainland Lagos) by Warriorpluto: 8:47pm On Aug 17, 2023
I'm new in the area and I'm having trouble trying to find a place that sells car fuses on the mainland. I need the size that goes for 2004 Toyota Corolla. The only person I know is in trade fair and his bike man is calling 8k for delivery🤣😂and no, I don't want to jump the fuses because that's why the wiring is faulty in the car and melting things now. So I want to get fuse replacements so I can diagnose the wiring faults the previous owner did. The whole wiring harness has been tampered with and not one wire left unturned.

Travel / Re: USA Spousal Visa Process/ K3 Visa by Warriorpluto: 8:46pm On Jul 08, 2022
africandictator:
It's so difficult for my fiance to get a Nigerian tourist visa and visit me in Nigeria. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? She keeps calling the consulate to book an appointment before she can travel from North Carolina to Atlanta and they would take her calls or even take her voice messages. Please any good person should kindly tell me how their fiance was able to get a visa to Nigeria because it's frustrating us and our wedding is scheduled for July we are already making preparations.
She should've used a visa company to do it. It would've saved her the headache. After I read the reviews on Google for the Washington and Atlanta consulates, I decided I couldn't risk a plane ticket on not getting anything done. Best money ever spend. And make sure she gets the two year. She also has to travel within ninety days after she gets it or else it will be invalid.

Health / Re: DVT Treatment by Warriorpluto: 1:59am On May 08, 2022
samfaluro:
Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) is a major health problem with high morbidity and mortality worldwide.
Deep vein thrombosis is the third most common cardiovascular disease after acute coronary syndromes and stroke, affecting 2 million individuals in the United States each year. DVT is quoted as a major health problem and one of the most common preventable causes of hospital deaths in the western world.

Deep vein thrombosis commonly affects the leg veins (such as the femoral vein or the popliteal vein) or the deep veins of the pelvis which made them common sources of serious complications.

According to studies conducted in China and Nigeria identified associating risk factors included, immobilization related to either surgical or medical causes, cigarette smoking, malignancies, varicose veins, local trauma, HIV infection and DM were implicated
The most commonly noted risk factors were malignancy of some kind, prolonged immobilization, pregnancy-related problems and severe trauma which roughly corresponds to a study conducted in Singapore general hospital in which case malignancy accounted for 36% followed by major surgery (20%) and prolonged bed rest.

Generally swelling was the most common presenting symptom follows by Pain and tenderness.
A circulatory system is made up of vessels called veins and arteries, which transport blood throughout your body. Blood clots can form in veins or arteries, Deep vein thrombosis refers to a blood clot that occurs along the vein path. It’s most common for this to happen in one of your legs, but it can also happen in the arms, pelvis lungs or even in the brain.

This becomes a life-threatening situation as a blood clot that forms in the lower part of the body can break off and travel back to the heart during the circulatory process.

Usage of DVT Pump to prevent

Basically, DVT Pump is pneumatic sequential compression devices, meaning air is filled in the compression devices, which will bring a decrease in the swelling or edema in medical term. So Deep Vein Thrombosis pump is used for calf muscles, thigh and the foot.

The idea is to break and prevent blood clot formation by applying pressure to the surrounding muscle, which compressed the vein and increases blood velocity in the deep veins, reducing stasis and stimulating fibrinolysis.

These devices are particularly designed for the patient with ICU cases, pre-surgery and post-surgery and patient recovering from a sports injury.
A patient that lying on a bed for a very long period can also consider DVT pump to prevent any chance of developing it.

Where does one get this kind of treatment in Lagos?

Properties / Fake Pharmacy Next To My Compound Selling Expired Drugs by Warriorpluto: 11:58am On Dec 16, 2021
Are there any agencies that actually look into this? There is an fake hospital next door to my compound and they are making complaints about my generator which is over twenty feet away from them. The woman that runs the place is jealous of my wife and now she's complaining about all the generators in our compound by other tenants. The generators are up on top of the balconies and doesn't even emit fumes because the generators are new. Since she report to my landlord on something stupid I'm going to report her on her late night fellowships that bother me at night time that she holds at her fake Hospital. She is also selling expired drugs. What would you guys do about this?
