So I'm Daniel,a teenager and these are a few of my "penings"

My dark side is a real part of me that I'll never deny, without it, I'll never know my light (if it exists).

To be socially awkward is no flaw,
society tries to tell me otherwise.
I go out and see so many fake faces and hear tons of lukewarm bullshit.
But whence I cast my sight upon a quiet person,I say to myself,
"ahh,so you understand?"

Searching for symptoms online, emotional instability, sorrow, rage, boredom, lime personality.
It's a disorder but it's important, without it I'd just FIT IN.


They only knew the part of me plagiarized from society,I smiled, found excitement in "exciting things", mingled and spoke to people.
But I'd get to the comfort of my bedroom,and laugh in maddend manners",they don't know ".
They couldn't handle it,the realness I brought to the table,the desire to be alone,the way I spoke to my mind.
And trust me,they never will.
But I'm sick now,
I HAVE THESE LUCID DREAMS,WHERE I CAN'T MOVE A THING,
people all around me, having tons of friends,I wake up,glad it's all but nightmares.

I don't know where people, especially extroverts get the impression that Introverts are boring or uninteresting. We are usually fun, intelligent, entertaining and deep, we just don't make a loud show of it and we prefer to express all of this in our comfort zone.

I'm sure you are interesting, it is not your fault that your ex prefers shallow and superficial fun. Please don't feel bad and don't let this experience shake your self esteem. You fantastic just as you are, he is just not the right one for you.

Parents, I don't get them, they'll always justify their own actions, but whenever their kids do the same thing or go through the same experience, it's completely different.

My dad slept off in a bus coming to Ibadan from Lagos and alighted without it.
My mom dropped her phone in a car and came out without it.
They both lost their phones, they called the driver a thief,same for the other passengers.

Now my phone's gone, I've heard hell, hell, hell, nothing but hell, not even sorry. It's all on me, as always, I've got no justification whatsoever.
"Tega, you don't have street sense" "...and you haven't resumed 100L,in that UI, they'll steal you in two weeks "
I'm just so grateful that I bought the phone with my own money,still it's not as painful to me as it seems to them.
But what actually pains them, the fact that my phone is gone or that their first born son is a complete idiot?,

Parents claim to know their children, teenagers especially, well lemme break it down for you,
YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT !!!!
Parents will hardly ever see depression or sadness in their teenagers, but will easily detect an "unwanted " pregnancy without the aid of a pregnancy test.
