Party tasks INEC on credible polls in Kogi, Bayelsa

The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has said the present National Working Committee (NWC) of the party is pursuing an agenda to revolutionize the party so that the idea of money-bag politicians dictating things in the party will be eliminated.

Secondus who spoke yesterday while receiving the head of International Republican Institute (IRI) in his office at the party’s national secretariat, Abuja, also urged the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, to ensure free and fair conduct of the Kogi and Bayelsa States governorship elections.

The Scheme:

The Sales trainee scheme is aimed at developing a talent pipeline of future leaders for the Sales Function across the various distribution businesses in Olam Nigeria.
The scheme will offer trainees a unique platform to build a foundation for leadership opportunities within the sales division of the business.
Selected candidates will undergo a 12 months’ training program during which they will be exposed to; Classroom trainings, Cross Functional/Business Stints, Shadow Assignments, Field Sales Assignments and Live Projects.
They will also undergo periodic reviews where each individual’s performance and attitude will be carefully monitored.
At the end of the 12 months’ training, a final review of key learnings and overall training experience will be carried out by the senior management team and successful trainees will have their appointments confirmed into the first level of management cadre.
Person Specification

First degree in any discipline from a reputable institution
Minimum of second class upper grade.
1 -2 years’ work experience in Sales.
Young and energetic
Ability to thrive in different working conditions.
High mobility with affinity for different cultures and willingness to work in any part of Nigeria
Strong team spirit
Strong analytical and numeric skills.
Fluency in English language and at least one other major Nigerian language.

Nyesom Wike, Rivers State Governor, whose election as Chief Executive of Rivers State was annulled on Saturday by the Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja has been very vocal about the Tribunal’s ruling.

He wrote on his Facebook wall over the weekend: “Election petition tribunal was directed to nullify the election of all South-South states governors. A total of N23 billion was paid to the tribunal judges by APC. They are to pass the order that the election did not comply substantially with election guidelines and order INEC to conduct election within 90 days.

“How can a party win all Senate seats, all House of Representatives seats, all State Assembly, 97% votes in presidential election and they could tell the public that the party did not win the governorship?

“Keep calm, we must appeal.”
