Crime › Re: Lagbus Driver Flogged Mercilessly By Soldier For Danfo Driver's Offence In Lagos by waterfas: 2:01pm On Mar 03, 2017 |
ibnquasale: If you are a regular road user in Lagos, then you will definitely know what those 'stewpid' lagbus drivers are capable of doing.
I am not in anyway supporting the attitude of the soldiers, but those lagbus drivers can be very mean. I can't wait for government to send them packing... Right words. |
Education › Re: How Did Osinbajo Become A Professor Within 10years in the Academia? by waterfas: 10:35am On Feb 25, 2017 |
Its possible, all depend on your will power. Its either you study hard or you spend years moving up the ladder gradually. Masters is two years, PhD maximum 5years, and the rest depend on your publications. Get the number require and become a Prof. But its not that easy anyway considering other factors, it still depend on the individual. |

Education › Re: Buhari Will Further Destroy The Bsc By Introducing B.tech..(equating It To Bsc) by waterfas: 12:54pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
gedtalks: Buhari said he is willing to end Bsc, HND Dichotomy, however he has not considered that:
1. It is so much easier to obtain admission into the Polythecnics than Universities. Therefore the products cannot be the same. I f he said improve the standards first, then he will be making more sense. But like someone rightly said how do you expect him to know "anything" about higher education when his O'Levels is even questionable.
2. There is already so much competition for white collar jobs. If you feed a Nigerian Poly Graduate that his qualification is same as the B.Sc ....trust me (with our Nigerian mentality) nobody will want to work in the Nigerian technical industries; for eg. A poly graduate will want to sit in the office instead of soiling his hands with the machines.
3. B. tech is normally issued in industrialized countries where technical jobs are paid as well as or even better than the B.Sc's because they MANUFACTURE. Technological PRODUCTION/ MANUFACTURING = FINANCIAL capacity to pay B.tech graduates well...and even better. CAN our POLY graduates MANUFACTURE "ANYTHING".. even as little as a pin B.tech should be the peak of productivity. FOR INDUSTRIALIZED countries ONLY
4. Bachelors degree system is already being flooded with low standards.. such as the part timers, the online universities, and the continuing education center, etc... where admissions are just by fees payment and an "expo-ed" WAEC result.
The summary of my points is that the qualities are not same yet. why does he need to kill BSc further rather than improve the quality of HND. Nigeria technological system does not equate to B.tech qualifications. FULL STOP OP, B.Tech is higher than B.sc in a real sence, just only in Nigeria we take them as the same. It is easier and cheaper to obtain a Bsc even in Nigeria. Get your info right. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Sacks Kachikwu As GMD Of NNPC by waterfas: 7:22pm On Jul 04, 2016 |
ENZOSCIFO1: For all of you insulting the President I can clearly see that the joke is on you all. Common lack of understanding is the problem here..
Let me explain. The hierarchy in the Nigerian Petroleum industry is as follows from top to bottom. 1) Min of Petroleum 2) Min of State for Petroleum 3) Chairman Board of NNPC 4) GMD NNPC.
Now it so happens that prior to now there was no No 3 and No 2 and No 4 was same person.
What that means that No 4 cannot report to No 3 ,who in turn reports to No 2 when 2 and 4 is same person. So it makes sense for No 4 to move up to No 3 so that No and 2 and 3 can be same person while a new person occupies No 4.
If u still don't understand the logic as at now...sorry I can't help u my further. You are right, even with your explanation some will still not understand. The six geopolitical zones were represented, while SS still control the board. |
