EMMY NOMINATIONS

Has anyone seen d nominees? What shows do u guys think should have been nominated but didn't make the cut?

Personally, I think Big Bang Theory should be in the comedy category. I'm glad Jim Parsons _{who plays Sheldon} got nominated tho.

Big Love was a great choice, lots of drama so its very deserving.

And Dexter

I like 30 Rock and The Office and HIMYM, so am rooting for them all

i got d first 2 seasons of IT crowd on DVD, the third isn't out yet and i never thought to find it online. . i'll get to it. I miss Roy and Moss

the inbetweeners is quite good. a lot of slapstick and it can be gross at times

I suppose u can't be indifferent to LaFayette. He's very OTT and in ur face, u either love him or loathe him

well, i don't particularly like Jason or Sam or Tara _{who i think needs to calm d heck down}, but Lafayette and Eric are really great characters. Or maybe u already don't like them since u read the books?

everytime i make a conscious effort to not buy stuff i end up getting loads of jewellries and accessories cos they "don't count"

and is it just me, but wen am broke i usually find something i just have to have

not really. its more like admitting it, and doing wat u can in d absence of better more permanent solutions

only one solution that i've found truly works. . . avoid stores like the plague!

I started watching this new show called "The Philanthropist".  Omo i was so mad!! u shud have seen how they nonsensed Nigeria!!  I actually started a thread on here about it:

"Why the hell does Nbc think they can silence nigerians?"  

After they startd deleting comments of nigerians who were taking them up on their research for the show.

The "nigerians" in the show were south african! There was a massive hurricane! Abuja was a slum, and everywhere else was a village!!! and that is just to name a few!

i saw that too!! i know they can't afford to be terribly accurate but come on!

nigeria is neither that horrible nor gorgeous. there's no beautiful women in bikinis rubbing each other and some of the scenery was obviously south african and you certainly won't have to walk a jungle and get bitten by serpents to get from A to B.

and I thought the whole crossing 7 seas and mountains to rescue the poor villagers was a bit unnecessary, he could just have thrown loads of money at it like every normal person, he's no good to anybody dead anyways

i hope the show dies a horrible "canceled after three episodes" kind of death. . . but that's just d nigerian in me

its only 1 episode so i guess its alright, and its got good intentions I guess. so maybe its not too bad

i love carrot cakes too! its weird cos i usually only do plain cakes. . . maybe cream

oh finally! someone that watches chuck. after watching it last week i had to check again to make sure it wasn't the finale.

didn't think they could top that but it kicked ass!! my jaw was on the floor for the last minute or so

i can't believe NBC will be stupid enough to cancel it, they don't have that many good shows left
