With time you'll get use to it... Climb bump slowly... And for port hole put one leg in pothole and one leg outside the pothole, if you can't avoid it.

It took me say 2 weeks after which no more issues. You will love the handling of this ride.

You can also try using larger tyres.

The crack engine block issue doesn't affect all 8 th generation Civic.

On a good note, since we do not have freezing condition in naija this sort of issue rarely happens. Just make sure to test drive the car like say an hour... Check the temperature gauge, cause if the engine is seriously cracked it will likely overheats, then drive to a lube bay and have it thoroughly inspected for leaks.

if you already got your visa,
i think you should go to abuja MOE & ask them because your certificate is not fully out. But they may decide to attest it for you.


however, if they refuse to do so, then you travel and work without cert till next year. Then come back or send someone to collect & attest the cert for you.
