ok, if you are the diy type, you can open it up, most likely the big capacitor in it has failed, but if it is the type that uses an adapter, you can check with another adapter of the same voltage and current rating if that is the culprit

Indeed, there might be a short circuit playing hide and seek at the moment before it finally gives up the ghost but might be more than a capacitor but certainly within the input area.

My advice for people, stay away from a decoder that doesn't come with an adaptor though they are repairable but more complex to fix especially if the faulty area or short is not within the input area.

Help guys, after waiting for almost a month and tracking my order with Speedaf I went to their store for collection but was told my order/parcel couldn't be found with them.


This morning, I chatted with their customer care and was told that my tracking number " NG000189711ES " is not valid " and that I should contact the seller this after I had traced and tracked my order down to Nigeria using the same speedAf website.
