Obviously, Galatasaray don't want Osimhen to leave because of his dedication, performance and even their fan base, but I don't really think they have enough resources to retain him...
Also, career-wise, I think Osimhen is better off playing either with a Premiership club or a La Liga club. Galatasaray must move on. Osimhen is too big for them, that's the fact. |

You can see why the West usually separates Sub-Saharan Africa from North Africa, these guys see themselves as Arabs and not as Africans.
The present day North Africans are just Arabs who invaded North Africa with Islam. You have them in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya etc. They've turned the real owners of the land into minorities and they don't hide their racism towards fellow Africans.
When it comes to racism, give it to Arabs and Asians, they don't respect black people at all! |

I pray he comes back home and shuns the drug dealing lifestyle road to nowhere in front of him over there. Well, I try not to judge people based on mere assumptions or just by limited experience. santaclaws: I'm learning a lot from this thread and I think both of you are saying two useful things, but your perspectives are different.
I think you're trying to give hope to those who many not be able to raise 13k euros for 1 year blocked account and since Chancenkarte.com sent an email to that effect, you believe it should be possible and I think it makes perfect sense. Some people might be lucky to get the 6 months chancenkarte in Nigeria since it's possible in other countries as well.
Hannaniah is also speaking from experience probably from contacts close to him, so it's quite possible they rejected some people.
All in all, I like your maturity. You guys don't need to be rude to each other since we're just exchanging info. 😎 Thanks for understanding my pov. I was just trying to encourage those with less funds to apply. Goodluck to everyone. |

Sid57: Following the debate on BA.
And just like a previous poster mentioned, I believe both parties have a point. @hannania has been super helpful with information and as stated it's from experience. However, there may have been a change cos I was preparing my €13k to transfer once on Fintiba when I saw someone's message on the thread that we can now do half. Within 24hrs of that person's post I saw a doc for me on the app also directing me to pay half the amount. On The Fintiba app it was not possible prior to that message to edit the amount for the BA, it just had the €13k+ but after the directive the 6M amount was on there and then you can edit it if U wanna do 1yr. The above is all I was trying to say, nothing more, nothing less. One person's experience may not be the same as another person's experience. Not everyone has 13k euros and those with 6500 euros for 6 months can also give it a shot. Only the embassy can confirm whether they are now accepting that or not! Is that too much for me to contribute to the thread? Anyways, I've moved on and wish you guys all the best! |

Hannania: Mr Man, calm down and learn, you're just trolling for no reason. Chancenkarte was updated to be 12 months visa not 6 months. It was formally called JOB SEEKER VISA(JSV). So far only india issues for 6 months and thats just 2 conulates out of 9 conulates that they have. The rest stick to 12 months as it is.
The Nigerian consulate issues 12 months Chancenkarte visa which is equivalent to 12 months of Block account. You've not applied yet, i'm giving you firsthand information and you're still arguing. You gave wrong information and called it OFFICIAL, i spotted you, and now you're saying "whether the information is from Chancenkarte GmbH or the German embassy directly" Lol ahhhh Nigerians sha You don't need to refer to me as "Mr. Man". We're only here to exchange ideas and facts, not to be rude to each other. The Job seeker's visa isn't the same as Chancenkarte, nobody is asking about any history of Job seeker's visa. I still advise anyone who has 6 months proof of funds looking to apply for 6 months chancenkarte visa to go ahead and apply, as per OFFICIALLY VERIFIABLE INFORMATION and not hearsay. Individual cases might be different and only the embassy can advise further.I will not be responding to your mention anymore as I don't appreciate how condescending you're getting... All the best. |

Hannania: You said it was an "Official" Information which was clearly fasle. Chancenkarte Team is not associated with any German Government body. Its a blog managed by a private firm.
I got this opportunity card recently, i know the process from start to finish. I also personally know a guy who used 6 months BA early this year when the new portal was launched, and his application was discarded and asked to update it to 13,092 euros. Every German consulate works independently, and so far the Nigerian consulate does not accept 6 months BA.
Nairaland is a great resource for a lot of people, and i am stating this so people will not waste their time.
If you need official information, use the german government information repository here: https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/types/job-search-opportunity-card
If you need information peculiar to the German consulate in Lagos, use this: https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/2691130-2691130?openAccordionId=item-2696670-3-panel
Every other thing is not OFFICIAL Where on the German embassy Nigeria's page does it show that you need 13k euros for 6 months Chancenkarte visa? The proof of funds is based on having 1.091 euros monthly, whether the information is from Chancenkarte GmbH or the German embassy directly. If anyone is applying for 6 months chancenkarte visa, the embassy cannot ask them for 1 year proof of funds! Unless you're saying the embassy isn't offering Chancenkarte for 6 months, which can only be verified at the embassy. |
Travel › Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by wazobeer: 4:46pm On Mar 29, 2025 |
Hannania: Chancenkarte Team is not associated with any German government body. They have no business with the nigerian consulate in Lagos. That's a private organization incase you don't know.
So please sit back and learn what's official and what's not. I also used this Visa to leave Nigeria, and i helped a couple applied for it and seen the consulate feedback. What you posted it not official. So Goodluck applying with 6 months BA I don't see the correlation between what you wrote and my response. I really don't know what you're trying to prove. The proof of funds is based on having 1.091 euros monthly, whether the information is from Chancenkarte GmbH or the German embassy directly. If anyone is applying for 6 months chancenkarte visa, the embassy cannot ask them for 1 year proof of funds! Unless you're saying the embassy isn't offering Chancenkarte for 6 months, which can only be verified at the embassy! To the best of my knowledge, none of us here works for the German embassy and I am only informing people to rely ONLY on officially verifiable information.Have a nice day. |

Hannania: No one has gotten approval with 6 months block account yet In Nigeria. Infact, two people tried and were asked to go add up to 13k on the portal. The information I corroborated was based on a FACTUAL and verifiable email sent by Chancenkarte, not "someone said" or "someone heard" (see attached email). Regarding the "two people" who were allegedly sent back to increase their blocked account funds: I'm not saying you're lying, but I don't think it's a good idea to rely on 3rd party information or hearsay when it contrasts with official information. Personally, I'd still advise anyone with 6 months worth of funds to apply, since it's based on officially verifiable information. The rest is left for the German Embassy to decide.

ashraf267: Hmm, apparently. But I read there's a provision to extend for another 6months. The official website even says 2 years extension is possible, under strict conditions, but it's better not to rely on that. Anyone going on 6 months ck visa should do all his/her possible best to secure a job within that period so as to get the main residence permit to avoid stories that touch. |

Retrovibes1: Does this mean the validity of the card will be 6 months? Yes, 6 months from your arrival date, but you should be able to secure at least a part-time job within that period which would further help to secure your residence permit. |

LadiIshola: The issue here is not just about service for HND graduates, it's that graduates who gained admission to HND having gotten their OND through part time study were not allowed to serve, even when their HND was full-time study. So that's what's just been corrected. But that makes no sense. HND and OND are well partitioned, so the previous diploma shouldn't be an issue. Either ways, thanks for mentioning that. |
