CareerRe: Oceanic Bank Sack Over 1500 Staffs In 30days by wazy(m): 4:16pm On Aug 02, 2009
This is not true. Some people have been laid off in recent time due to one of the following reasons;negligence to duty, fraud, poor attitude to work, inability to meet set targets etc.The management of the bank has been benevolent to these set of people and management cannot continue to run a world class organization this way.The sledge hammer must definitely fall on these set of people.Sorry Mr Osamaobama if you are one of them.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Praise God! I Just Got A Job With Oceanic Bank. by wazy(m): 6:21pm On May 28, 2007
AdeCisco, Congrats on your new job with Oceanic bank. You are about to experience peace in your career as a banker especially when it is oceanic where we experience peace.I work with Oceanic bank as a trainee. It takes 6 months to be in that position and after that you go up to the next level as an assistant officer one(AO1).Before now, someone can stay upto one year before going to the next level, since going up to the next level depends on if you have attended the 8 weeks compulsory classroom training or not but lately management has approved direct promotion to the next level as long as you have stayed upto six months. But that does not mean you will not attend the compulsory training. I hope this information is elaborate enough. Once again congrats.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How To Pass Oceanic Bank Interview. by wazy(m): 5:23pm On Mar 18, 2007
There is nothing much about the interview. Just be yourselve and I assure you that you will be successful. Just get aquainted with their products and services/management. It is just like any other interview. The first question is always' tell me about yourselve' . Expect questions from anywhere. open your mind and be articulate. I wish you all the best
