nairalanda1:There are laws, but not every criminal gets a jail time for their crimes. That his offence is jailable doesn't mean he has to go to jail. A community service would be more appropriate. Sentencing him to life in prison would be a miscarriage of justice. |
American jurors can be very biased at times. I don't condone the actions of the priest, but a life sentence would be unjust. |
Catholic priests are doing so much these days. I heard about one notorious priest based in the north who impregnated a girl. One day, the girl clandestinely left the baby in his care at the parish house to go attend classes. She returned to meet a dead baby foaming from his mouth. She confronted him, and these were his exact words: "you should thank God you didn't die instead". The girl was shaken, but too scared to press charges. Several petitions about his philandering habits were written against him prior to the incident, but the bishop turned a blind eye. As a staunch catholic, I stopped going to confessions light years ago because no priest is morally qualified to hear me confess my sins. They ain't God by the way! |
No woman should do laundry for any man unless he is sick. OP, your friend and his wife are two pathetic duo lacking in respect. They have turned the poor woman into a main under the guise of omugwo. |
Nigerians and their penchant for using labels on people. Did Regina ever acknowledge that she dated the guy? They used to be spotted together because they were colleagues. Where did you people get that false claim that they dated? |
After reading the post, I must admit that his sentencing was a miscarriage of justice since he didn't force the women. Whether he used his position as a spirit father unjustly, is not for the court to decide. Americans commit the worst sexual crimes and get away with it. However, I think he chose the wrong vocation for himself. He could have fared better as a porn star. |
There is no difference between a cultist and a bandit. The unfortunate thing is, in majority of Nigerian families, at least one person is a cultist. |
God1000:God will not punish anyone. The problem we have as Nigerians is that we are not patriotic enough, neither are we united. If it doesn't affect us, then it's not our problem. I must also mention that Nigerians are cowards who are too scared to defend themselves. With all the abled young men we have in our various homes, I'm furious that these animals are still having a field day. |
Why are Nigerians silent about this? Sitting in the comfort of our homes and posting 'free the kidnapped children' whilst using the latest iPhone to type is proof we are not being our brother's keeper. Why should a group of animals who are less than 1% of the country's population hold us to ransom and everyone is silent? The time has come to stage an unprecedented mass protest. If we don't act now, these bandits will destroy us because they are animals and animals have no conscience. |
oz4real83:That is because, the rise in kidnapping could be politically motivated. Just saying... |
MissPride:That's a bit rich, coming from a man pretending to be a woman. So tell me, what is the difference between you and the bandits? |
Basic123:The way you people like to criticise the owner of this forum is annoying. It's a forum for pete's sake, and you don't expect him to verify every story that is pushed to front page. Why not say the same to the owners of Twitter and FB where people post unverified claims in multitudes? You wouldn't dare but quick to do cho..cho...cho...here because the only thing a black man is good at is to rubbish the handwork and efforts of his fellow man. |
Kobojunkie:Rape is rape, regardless of who the perpetrator is or whether it is acceptable by some sick religion or not. Even husbands rape their wives and get away with it because they never regard it as an offense. But in all of these , there is only one victim: the woman. So, saying that a bandit rapist is different from non-bandit rapist is the most ridiculous thing to say. |
Very heartbreaking story! But let's be honest, the issue of raping women is not a bandit thing, but a man's thing. Fathers are raping daughters, brothers are raping sisters, uncles are raping nieces... So, they raped her not because they are bandits, but because they are just like the usual sick men scattered around the country who love taking advantage of vulnerable women. |
So the smallie had a boyfriend. |
This looks like a hotel room. Most Nigerians are too messy to use white bedsheets. |
This has gotten out of hand. If we don't take proactive measures, this demonic trend will consume us. I don't think people should wait to be kidnapped before taking action. Instead of handing over 10 Million...100Million to kidnappers as ransom, travellers should pay for security escorts instead. It may not solve the problem, but the kidnapping frequency will reduce drastically. |
It beats me how people can trust a stranger to handle the preparation of their meals in their own house. I am not a good cook, but I would rather prepare my concoctions than allow anyone to fix my meals. As for eating out .....Well, if it isn't a fancy restaurant, then count me out. At least I know that most fancy restaurants operate under good sanitary conditions, and they also have supervisors that ensure that their meals are hygienically prepared. |
Niccoloimhotep:When I said divorcee with 5 kids, I wasn't referring to the woman. Is it only women that are referred to as 'divorcee'? |
Same goes for men. Women, if your potential father in-law is a dead beat, abuser and philanderer, then there is a high chance that your potential husband will turn out the same. So, beware incase you enter a one chance marriage where your enjoyment is view once. |
Nigerian police are so unprofessional. What is the essence of recording this video and posting it on SM? |
foleskay:What made you conclude I was referring to the woman? |
Kobicove:He is the divorcee, and not the woman. |
occfx:Don't get me wrong. The man is the divorcee and not the woman. |
Most Nigerian men forming smart, hard workers and ambitious were just lucky to land themselves a good job. Take away their white collar jobs, and watch them wither away like a piece of dry hibiscus flower. This is why most of them take to drinking and idling away once they lose their lucrative jobs. Women are the real hustlers, and majority of them have become the bread winners. For that reason, no woman should step down for any man to excel. The sacrifice ain't worth it! |
I hear she is expecting a child. |
They just had to fake an audio marriage to project a positive image to the public. There is nothing wrong if he never got marriage before his death, and hiring an actress to play a wifey role at this time is ridiculous. |
faithfull18:He is 48. And yeah, there should be no display of pomp and pageantry for a second marriage. |
Getting married to a divorcee with 5 kids is not a flex. So I understand why Donald Trump Snr was notably absent. |
Here is what I have observed with poor people: they treat their children like trash, call them all manner of names, mistreat them and even silently pray for at least one to die since they birth too many children. So if anyone dies, they will get some chicken change from condolence visits. But as soon as their status changes, these once upon a time "poor parents" will start acting as if their children are the eight wonders of the world. Back to the topic....Why did they have to disrespect the poor baby in that manner by taking his lifeless nude pics? Who certified him dead? Instead of them to rush him to a hospital, they were busy taking pictures. Seeing his lifeless body is very heart breaking. Nonetheless, I'm certain the father never meant to harm the toddler, but poverty, combined with frustration triggered him to over react. RIP to the baby! Your parents failed you. |
Nigerian men are becoming too dangerous. The way they sniff life out of people is becoming alarming. The mere thoughts that these people committing these crimes are even on this forum makes me shudder. |
500 Million to be pain in 500 Million installments. |
