Today, a distressing incident occurred involving a special constabulary officer SCP ABIDEMI AYINDE attached to Iperu-Remo division was set ablazed by his wife MRS SARAH AYINDE today 08/12/2024 at 1000hrs, the officer was promptly rushed to the hospital and his responding to treatments.
The officer’s wife allegedly set him ablaze amid accusations of infidelity report have it that heated arguments arose between the couple earlier yesterday before the officer went on night duty..
SCP AYINDE told me, that he was sleeping due to stress of night duty when his wife doused him with a flammable liquid before igniting it.
The officer sustained severe burns and was immediately transported to the nearest hospital for urgent medical treatment. His current condition is under evaluation by medical professionals.
