The Presidency has announced that President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja for Katsina State today for a two-day official visit.

The president will meet with important stakeholders to evaluate the state’s security situation during the visit, according to a statement released by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga on Thursday.

He will commission the Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre and a 24KM dual carriageway completed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda.


Before leaving for Abuja, President Tinubu would also accept an invitation to attend the governor’s daughter’s wedding, Onanuga continued.

It is no longer news that the present governor of Delta State, His Excellency Mr. Sheriff has crosscarpeted to the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC). His reasons are best known to Him and Him alone. But we all know it is for his selfish interest and not in the interest of his people.

Also, the immediate past governor and Vice-presidential candidate for PDP in last general elections, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has also left the PDP for APC. He alone knows why.

Then again, we have Senator Ned Nwoko, husband of Nigeria's Nollywood screen goddess, Regina Daniels who decamped from the PDP to APC. He has his motives for this.
