In the originating motion brought pursuant to Section 37 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and section 24(1)(A) and (E) & Section 34(1)(D) of Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, Order 2 Rule 1 Fundamental Rights Enforcement Procedure Rules, 2009, by his lawyer, Olumide Babalola, the human rights Lawyer accused the organization of publishing motion images and voice captioned, “AfriCare Health Center,” in their website to the effect that Falana has suffered a disease known as ‘Prostatitis’, which the lawyer claimed constitutes an invasion of his privacy as guaranteed by section 37 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999.

The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed circulating rumors about the return of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) under a reformed set of rules.


In a statement titled “Disclaimer: SARS Remains Dissolved,” issued in Abuja on Monday, Force Public Relations Officer ACP Muyiwa Adejobi emphasized that SARS, disbanded on October 11, 2020, remains permanently dissolved.

Gateman forced to do push-ups over alleged affair with his boss’ wife

A gateman in Kanifing Estate in Gambia was allegedly forced to do push-ups after being accused of having an affair with his employer’s wife.

The employer, who calls him Gully Side on social media, confirmed the incident to journalists on Wednesday.

“In the morning, everyone leaves for work. He was alone at home with my wife, and I saw them with my own eyes. They were very close, but said it was just jokes,” he said.

The employer further accused the gateman of stealing his television set and other household items. 

When asked if he had divorced his wife over the alleged affair, the employer responded, “The matter is in court"
