You've said it all, never let the romantic subplot get bigger than the main plot, this mistake happens when a story is plot driven instead of character driven.

Character Goals
One of the villain wanted to be like Diana, only to end up like a cheetah, one from wanting black gold to a fairy godmother, and Diana from superhero to a telemundo cast.

Rule of Cool
There where a lot of unnecessary rule of cool, Diana now able to fly, which is cool but contributed nothing to the plot.

The armor being useless, as Diana won't die being scratched by a cat.

Swinging on lightning makes no sense when you can fly

Cheetah
The cheetah girl didn't work, that's because you don't bring a hard fantasy into a soft fantasy movie, imagine bringing a dragon from GOT to prison break, imagine how stupid it will feel.

The main issue with the movie was inconsistent and unrealistic goal.

At this point it's best they go back to the drawing board, superhero movies are not like other movies, it can easily be ruined if they don't know what makes it special.

Anyways, do you think Zack Snyder's justice league will be any good. I pity that guy. Imagine the overwhelmingly negative backlash he will receive if the movie turns out to be bad.

It turned into a romance movie with little action, I guess women didn't feel represented and empowered, and with the lack of action, men were already counted out.

To be honest, I didn't bother about the romance and the less action. I just find the plotting to be underwhelming.

the movie revolves around a stone whose origins are poorly explained.

the fact that Diana hasn't move on from the death of Steve Trevor after so many years is just ridiculous.

So wonder woman--- a superhero who, against her mother's wishes, desperately travelled from her homeland to fight ares during the world war and save the world----is hesitant to give up her own selfish desires and save the world again!!! that is definitely not true to the character

the fact that they can just renounce their wish so easily is a good example of lazy writing.
I find cheetahs inclusion to be unnecessary. her motivation to become a wild animal after she had really desired to become a beautiful and recognized person is weak

not to mention the ridiculous amount of plot holes: so they just allowed Maxwell Lord to return to his normal life after what he did, wonder woman can now fly after Zack Snyder said this version of her couldn't, so no one discovered that Diana is wonder woman after years of saving the world unmasked (just to mention a few)

I would have just loved if the story was set shortly after the first movie. when Diana is dealing with the death of Steve trevor. then a goddess--sort of like loki-- tricks Diana into wishing she had Steve Trevor back at the cost of the the evil goddess becoming the ruler the amazonians.

Total number of votes cast during Britain Got talent 2017 = 6.2million votes

Total number of votes cast during American got talent 2017 = 52.1million votes.
Note: American population is twice Nigeria's population.

Mind you, most of the votes cast on either Britain or American got talent are *absolutely free* because you can vote on their websites & on the Apps without paying a dime.

Total number of votes cast during “Big Brother Nigeria” 2018 = 170million votes @ N30 per sms for a show that contributes absolutely nothing to their lives.

It is neither a talent show or life enhancing or promoting show. A show where adults are kept in a cage to freely give & take sex on National Television, while the organisers make more money from the youths.

If INEC organises general election this weekend and ask Nigerian youths to vote on their mobile phones @ N10 per SMS to elect leaders that will shape their futures & the country, they will ask Nigerian Government to credit their accounts 1st before they will agree to vote in that magnitude.

“Wasted Generation” ~ Prof. Wole Soyinka called them.

“A generation that play too much, sleep too much and engage in idle chatter and gossip" ~ Chief Obafemi Awolowo foresaw

A generation of illiterate graduates ~ Atiku Abubakar called them in 2016

A generation that are constantly not concerned about the deteriorating conditions of their senses & not bothered about their own future~ Osquare78 knows them.

We all must be wary of this generation.... they are the larger chunk of Nigerian population.

It is pathetic. 170 Million votes Multiplied by N30 = N 5.1 billion and the winner got N25 million plus an SUV worth N12 million a trip and electronics.

To destroy the future, destroy the seed (children and youths)...

Pray for Nigeria youths to open their eyes and for God to touch the hearts of those who engage in such illicit business.
