Forgive me for intruding into you ghys back and forth. Dosumu isn't known for electronics. Abi you meant jankara? And secondly, hope you know that alot of replicas full market. So don't really use open market price to judge. You can get an LG 55 inches new smart tv for 100k in alaba😁😁 If I show evidence does it change any fact. Nah mumu dey buy goods from this thread 99% of the prices you people post are outrageous, go dosumu OX, sonik japan 26inch are sold 85k I bought mine exactly the day fire gutted that market which should be 2 weeks ago. Qasa, lontor etc are cheaper. I no get time for back and forth with you, maga must fall and you go chop but the maga won't definitely be me ![]() |

gift01: Well to be honest its been long i went there. I patronize ijesha and lagos island mostly. I only suggested that to her cos of her proximity to alaba intl. But the section is opposite that electrical gate, if my memory serves me fine 1 Like |

ontolegit: I won't be chanced my brother. Just chat me up, when you get confused. I believe with my guide, you should scale through. Another thing, if you can, budget another money to buy other things you didn't plan to buy🤣🤣 if you doubt me, you will see. That place is equally a great place to buy steam irons at cheap rate. The guys that sell iron at lawanson actually source their wares from there. God bless 3 Likes |

Jagznation: Na true sha, but ijesha is a lesser evil compared to alaba tho. If they have been going to market before, they suppose know how to identity "oso afia" guys. If anyone beckons on you for what you are seeking to buy. No mind am. Funny thing is that in ijesha, there is no particular place to get the machine. Just be moving from one warehouse to another. They are not far from each other tho, they are equally in the same gated compound. There is another place close to the odogbolu warehouse still at the same ijesha. Just a stone thrown. Akeredore shopping complex. Check the two places, you will definitely see. As a guide price, if you get the juki or brother brand with the table and clutch motor, budget 120k to 150k. If its only head and table, 90k to 100k will be okay. I won't advise you to buy just the head except you have a table at hand and most nigerian carpenters cant build the industrial machine table well. So in essence, you can buy just the head and table, and buy new motor either clutch or direct drive. 4 Likes |

Ijeomaokonkwo: "Wealth of experience"🤣🤣. I don't know it all biko, neither am i a novice. There is a section in alaba international where they sell sewing machine. Ask around, you will be directed. One of the pros of buying from shop vendor is because of testing and some kind of warranty too. because at odogbolu warehouse, its mostly non tested they sell tho at a cheaper price compared to other markets. Use this guide, for the machine head, turn it, if it rolls free, thats cool and equally check for any cranking noise from the gear, if you notice any cranking sound, abort! For the motor, tell the vendor to switch it on for about 15 minutes. Check for a burnt smell. If there is none, then the coil maybe ok. You are most likely going to be scammed on the clutch motor part🤗 one of the ways to identify japanese motor is the likelihood of having 110v and 220v and then a tiny switch knob. God bless 5 Likes |

ontolegit: I wont be chanced to follow you to the place. Just go to the warehouse. You will see the machines yourself. I will drop my whatsapp number. You can chat me when you get there. If you get confused, just snap the machines you see there. I will help you to suggest the one to buy. 09081777555 4 Likes |

Ijeomaokonkwo: Since you are around satellite, you can equally check ojo alaba market. They sell tokunbo machine and new ones there. Buy tokunbo, just my personal advise. If you see the DBL model of brother brand, then you are in serious luck. That model is an old warhorse. If power consumption is not an issue for you, you can equally go with japanese clutch motor. The vendor should be able to switch it to 220volts for you. Thats your goodbye to frequent machine breakdowns, if you are a heavy user 2 Likes |

Ijeomaokonkwo: Just do this, go to ogbobolu warehouse at ijesha. Check if you will be lucky to see any juki or brother brand in tokunbo. If you see, just buy it and buy new motor either clutch or direct drive. I doubt if you will see new brother products easily in lagos and they will cost you in excess of 500k if you see one. I write this based on my over 10 years experience. My brand new chinese machines always break down unlike the tokunbo japanese ones. But if you still want to buy the chineese ones, Go to tom jones area, off nnamdi azikiwe street, you will get various vendors there. Priotize these brands in the order based on their build quality. Emel, amro brother, two lion, xian typical, bote. Ofcourse emel brand cost more 6 Likes 1 Share |
