Lazy folks everywhere. Everything is 'too long'. If you are this slothful, why not just walk away quietly instead of shamelessly proclaiming your torpidness.

OK, thanks, I'm a lazy folk but I've got more important things to do with my time rather than read senseless post like yours...
I'd seen your posts and seen those things that are 'important' to you.
Next time just skip post like these ones, instead of advertising your dilatoriness and torpidness.
Getting old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

you obviously are a jambite or yet to complete secondary education. Same goes for the OP

Before I got into the system, it has been like that.. when I got there, it was like that. Infact throughout my days in uni, it was struggle against Mgt's injustice

It's your likes in glorified secondary schools who know nothing thinking they are something or one of these 14 - 15 yrs kid already in tertiary institution.
Nonsense [/s]
Article is by Prof Pius Adesanmi, look him up on Google.
I can bet I that I obtained my first and second degree from Ife before you finished from primary school. I won't say more than this.

This is it. This is the best article I've ever read on Nairaland. My heart weeps profusely whenever I go through Nairaland, Facebook, Twitter etc and see the level of hate being expressed by young people calling ourselves Afonjas and Igbos, while the ruling class destroys our collective futures. They simply apply the age old but effective principles of divide and rule to there own benefit, thereby making us put dullards and brain dead individuals who can't even tie up their own shoes as our leaders.
Nigeria votes along ethnic and religious lines never for competence or ability to actually lead(the demography of the last election speaks volumes).
God save us from ourselves.

A nation that cannot produce a critical mass whose attention span can grasp more than a tweet is doomed. A nation that cannot produce a critical mass that can read more than a paragraph without grumbling is doomed.
As you make your bed, so you will lie on it. It's your laziness, it's your life. MajoMajority of Nigerian youths as I know them have no future. You sure lead the pack.

I can only shake my head for you. Laziness has eaten deep inside your generation. When was the last time you picked up a book and read it through. Have you ever written a well constructed thought line, can you write and gold your readers spellbound? Laziness laziness. How much of history do you know? Laziness.
And you wonder why this generation seems to be cursed. Your condition is a direct result of self affliction. Grow up.

I didn't read, quantinue!
Hence the many contradictions of our blighted existence in Nigeria. Boastful public anti-intellectualism – I don’t read! This essay is too long! – is worn around the neck like an Olympic gold medal by people screaming “aluta” on social media. People who live for hate and by hate on the basis of ethnicity and faith also go about screaming aluta

A nation that cannot produce a critical mass whose attention span can grasp more than a tweet is doomed. A nation that cannot produce a critical mass that can read more than a paragraph without grumbling is doomed.
The article is talking about lazy folks like you.

The most corrupt agency in Nigeria is arguably the EFCC. You don't believe me? Let them give account of all the money recovered.
All monies recovered are paid into the FG consolidated account. You want evidence, feel free to write to CBN.
Its quite easy to talk intelligently and not like a blabber.
