Chuksonyeike:
is anyone in custody yet? don't you find that curious?
Who do you keep in custody before investigations?

The agency claiming the money is investigated not the DG, buthe has to give way for proper invstigations. If he's culprable, he will be invited and maybe held in custody.

It still doesn't explain how the 43m usd got to Osborne in Ikoyi.

Until i see the name of the owner of that particular flat, i still won't believe this isn't a movie script.

Politics › Re: President Buhari Suspends SGF Babachir Lawal And DG NIA Ayodele Oke by wellmax(m):
We will fight corruption to a stand still.

SGF, long over due.

DG NIA, how could you house over N13B for some covert operations and the sitting President doesn't know about it.

Buhari caused it by not firing all Jonathan's appointees.

But in another sense, if this guy has been fired, these monies would have been gone forever.
Politics › Re: President Buhari Suspends SGF Babachir Lawal And DG NIA Ayodele Oke by wellmax(m): 1:28pm On Apr 19, 2017
Finally.

Chuksonyeike:
suspension is not enough.Mr Oke must be immediately arrested and prosecuted!!! anything short of this smells cover up.Suspension with full benefits just like Obasanjo did for the late AIG Raphael Ige is balderdash!!!! we must uncover the real owner of the most notorious apartment 7B huh huh huh huh
That will be after investigations are concluded.

Ohhh, RIP.

Used to admire his wealth as a little boy growing in Tundun Wada Kaduna.

This guy would buy up houses in an entire street, demolish and fence it up.

Chanchangi Schools used to be the best in the area.

RIP Alhaji
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Got A New Job: From Security To Account Officer by wellmax(m): 11:29am On Apr 19, 2017
Freethought:
so I decided that I must always send at least two applications per day
This is what I keep telling job seekers. Searching for job is a job in itself. Do it passionately and seriously. Don't fold hand waiting for vacancies, go out seek for them (online/offline) and make sure you apply everyday.

He should ake those evidence to the courts.

Who are we talking about here? huh
Politics › Re: El-Rufai Published State Security Budget, Not His Security Vote"– Reps Spokesman by wellmax(m): 10:01am On Apr 12, 2017
MakeADifference:
While you think otherwise, the VP and the First Lady agree the state of the party/govt is comatose aka gasping for breath.
That is a different issue entirely.
APC has its challenges no doubt, but disagreement between party members is also healthy for the development of democracy.

When there is no vision, the people perish

The most confused party in the world is leading the world's 7th largest nation.

Oh Lord, please have mercy!
I disagree, this only shows APC is not a paddy paddy party. If you fvck up, they treat your fvck up.
Me think this is good.

What EFCC is doing is e wa woran hoooo.

No wonder they keep loosing case. Because they only depend on media trial and not painstaking investigations
Please stop.
How many cases has EFCC lost sef compared to the ones they have won?
Politics › Re: EFCC Recovers N250Million Cash From Balogun Market, Lagos Today (Pics) by wellmax(m): 11:08pm On Apr 10, 2017
macaranta:
Money laundering happens mostly when people move huge amounts of raw cash outside the financial institutions sometimes with intent to embezzle or fund illegal activities.
My point is they should investigate before bringing it to the Media, I feel all these activities without any real substance is just to keep people occupied with fantasies already in their heads. Like catching all the corrupt people.. Its what we all want to see or hear so they serve it to us.. Albeit half-done.
Guilty until proven guilty about? Correct.
Tell the police to stop parading criminals and kidnappers until investigations are completed. huh
What evidence again do you need to prosecute money laundering. Media or no media, a good case will always be won.
I hope EFCC has learnt alot from the cases it lost. Mind you they were never lost due to 'mesia show' but majorly on technical grounds.

Fhowe:
what makes you think it is stolen money many business do business that is more than $1,000,000 and I don't see anywhere in the Nigerian constitution that says buy foreign currency is iilegal efcc and crappy investigation it is all about coming out and producing invoices of what you need the money for and the last I checked inherited money is also not iilegal total rubbish
Guy stop this show of ignorance here on cyber space.
Do you really understand what money laundering is?
Politics › Re: EFCC Recovers N250Million Cash From Balogun Market, Lagos Today (Pics) by wellmax(m): 9:55pm On Apr 10, 2017
macaranta:
That's why I said legitimate, they should investigate properly and be at least 90 per cent sure of a conviction before the whole media charade.
You are still missing the point.

drake2000x:
I don't understand....is it against the law for BDC to change that kind of money? Then what's the purpose of BDC if they keep arresting people changing money with them? If you don't BDC, a legal financial institution by the way, then abrogate the institution to stop all these nonsense. Personally I think they are responsible for the dollar scarcity...via hoarding
Financial institutions are mandated to report monies above certain threshold to the government.
