I have been in the job market for years and I can tell you what is obtainable from experience.

When I say there are no jobs. I mean jobs for people in my age not MT.
It's based on connection and referrals.

I've passed recruitment stages from test till I met with CEO and I didn't get it because I'm Igbo.
I've passed recruitment stages from test till names were sent to FCC. Checked from commissioner representing my state and name still intact till it got to the department/agency and it was shortchanged.
I've passed NNPC test and went to Abuja for interview and I heard nothing again since 2011.

I was the highest in a recruitment test at p/h(travelled from lag to p/h) On the day of the interview, they gave a particular guy so much respect and audience. They even gave him tea and they never offered me anything. They didn't ask me more than 2 questions and they told me to go. In fact they hurriedly interviewed me. I scored 74% and the guy got 52%. We discussed it when we sat together.

Another one in Lagos. I was the first to come for the interview but they attended to the guy that came after me and he was asked to go for medicals even before I was interviewed. I made the interviewers understand what they did. One was trying to defend it and the other apologised.

I passed test(2 times) and interview for Abinbev. I was even called for medicals but I didn't get the job at the end. I was replaced.

Bro, I can go on and on and on and on. I have so many experience. When I tell you there's no other way aside connection and referrals, trust me, I know what I'm saying.

I have worked with construction/building/haulage companies and production/chemical companies for 8/9 years all together.
we all have stories for days bro, before I decided to start my own business and then compliment it with ehailing I know what I went through and the numerous disappointment due to not having godfather in higher places...the final one was the immigration saga, I passed all the process only to be replaced overnight by a guy who didn't even write the test at stage one.

Why will indrive ever allow this kind of price to surface for the distance?
so your app is working today?

Passing Thirdmainland through Adekunle and passing Eko bridge is not any different.
Una eye don too big such that even with the increment in fare Una no still appreciate am, na so so complain and the error part una go see. Before will u collect 5k without surge from Mushin to eko hotel?

Well... in my own experience my fares are not fixed, the extra enter Rider Bonus and is paid to me like a card trip. d fixed fare is in the Rider side, if u have a stop over, longer route or traffic the fare will still increase even though the estimated price is a higher band.
are you for real? omoh..I can't accept 5k for that on indrive o

I swear. angry
Check the map and see what is happening at the moment.
Well, anybody coming from island should avoid taking 3MB.
Just jejely go and take Apongbon-eko bridge and find your way to your destination.
The traffic you go face on Ikorodu road is child's play to 3mb.
Make una check map before taking order oh.
I saw it, na orile to mile 2 then festac to connect ago I use now, very free

Lol… never knew we are sharing same app. How are they going to deliver cakes like this 😂
when you click on the courier trip, the map logo changes from a car to a bike man with bag

The app is majorly meant for the broke before 😂 me that is looking at Amarachi yesterday 😂 in my mind, you go sleep for office. Some riders no just get conscience. And another thing I’ll never understand about Indrive is their courier service. Some times I’m tempted to pick some just to ask if it’s 7 days delivery package they want.
I don off courier service tey tey, very annoying thing

So if you had spent 2hours on the trip, it would have amounted to the same price !. Waoh.. so much for dynamic pricing.
very much so, that was why I ran from them.

Abeg make una no cast indrive ooh.
Small time now, indrive passengers go port back to bolt when they're seeing your posts.
Indrive is trash, make we leave am like that. grin

Much respect, bosses.
lol..they can't port no worry😁. there is this sense of assurance and calmness when you already know how much you're paying for a trip.

.

Explain this Broski.

Same pick up. Same destination. Different prices
when the trip ends on bolt, it might be around 9k or 9k5 and bolt drivers will be happy not knowing the could have made 15k on indrive.

You feel Indrive gives you a good run for your money than Uber?

Recently, I heard Uber now shows destination without conditions and no more penalties for refusing to pick a trip. grin, they waited too long.

well. I noticed their surge prices was now fixed, I complained on 3 different trips in one day after seeing how poor it was(even the riders were surprised when they saw how little they had to pay). After few minutes of complaining to uber they replied all my complaints with "you got the right amount for the trip". when I decided enough was enough was when I went to island after they closed the bridge and spent 2hours plus and was asked to collect 7100. As I said, I switched to indrive and so far so good...it might not be the same for everyone, but for me I'm enjoying it. Also, i don't frequent the mechanic workshop like before.

Yes, I'd rather that than join in spoiling the hustle (even though e don spoil finish sha). I almost always never compromise on indrive because traffic is not factored in, then indrive riders are the absolute worst when it comes to punctuality.
You'll get to pick up in time, next thing you're waiting 20 something minutes for them to come out, when they eventually do come out it's to drop bag in the car and go back inside (that's if they don't tell you "Ha! I forgot o, I've followed my friend"wink. Then when you eventually start trip, they want to stop at black bell to buy food (I'll top up your fare), when you finally end trip the top up fit no pass rounding 5400 up to 6k for you.

Your trip go come, na patience.
Well said....I don't compromise either. I dropped uber for indrive since January and so far so good. I just wanted to hear your response.

If you ask them now
They'll say it was destination trip... destination trip or not, somethings are just wrong. Riders don't know it was a destination trip, they'll go ahead and tell their friends and families they carried for 6k yesterday and that's how low-balling continues
so what's your advice for a driver that's going home and haven't seen any trip? he should just drive home empty because no one is willing to pay 100k like bolt for a 2hours trip?

I can't wait for 3mb to be fully opened. there are some nice trips i'll see on indrive going to the island but when I remember the stress it will take to come back to the mainland i will just let it go...I spent 2hours last week from Osborne to oshodi.

Thanks Boss, but the fares are always on negotiable price.
.how will I know the real prices to go to those places.

Most places, I don't really know how much to go to those places.

Should I always book a ride with my Uber to know the real price of those places?

Please help
that's why I maintain that as a newbie, you should start with uber or bolt till you're familiar with how fare works.

Hardly will you see drivers that use AC now o

If riders like, let them rate all drivers low for not using AC, by the time all main apps blocks drivers, rider will still be the one to suffer it to get rides on time...

Looks at bolt now, they have lost almost all their drivers to indriver....
God knows I can't drive a car without using ac. As this sun dey hammer so e no dey affect some people? the only time I off my ac is when I'm parked.

That's the new programming. It even arrives by itself without you getting there..Indrive looking for money by all means. grin
The fluctuating exchange rate puts a pressure on the mission station of the home country because most business loans for ehailing companies are dollar based.
even if you're clicking the (X) besides the I've arrived it will still arrive while you're on your way and start the trip...no be small thing
