the hand luggage is not weighed in most cases but sized with eye, so stick to the size
everything rests on the hands of the check-in person.if the supervisor is not by their side they could be nice...but that's a gamble
be on the safer side and go to their office and purchase excess luggage, its about eur150 for 30kg, then u have no fears

its not fair when ppl come on here and start saying stuffs like no one wants to ans their question, take time out and just read thru, i joined this thread in June then it was in page 113, took me few hrs for 2 days to digest everything, i am not an authority in it yet(cos i never reach Finland yet) but i know what it takes, in simple terms just take time off and read thru, u can start from Oct of 2014 ( use it as Ur bed time story) if u don't want to read much

simply ask the name of the airline, the only way u can have a direct flight is if its the countries carrier or base operation in Finland and finnair don't do Nigeria, most be at least one stop.
i guess that price is for a round trip, i think u need a one way.

just checked, 4 of my cards are visa, hope i can make use of them too or do i need to get a master card? can the ATM over there give up to 1k euro per withdrawal? I think its better to withdraw with card then rather than changing here in Naija

Hi , call the Turkish airline to confirm ur ticket and ur entitlements. I have never heard of 15kg on a flight of more than 5 hrs. Local flights ain't even 15kg.

Secondly in ph international airport issuing of "yellow cards" have been stopped we now have to go to NPA ( immigration at sea exit) for it. Check if it applies to lag too

Don't depend only on ur master card they've got daily limits and charges per withdrawal. Leave it for dead emergency.
