Politics › Re: Dangote Refinery’s ₦774/Litre Petrol Cheaper Than Imported Petrol by weslay: 2:54pm On Feb 12 |
thesolutions: Dangote is not straight forward.
He brought down his price to 699, marketers stop import and switch to dangote product. After making payments for millions of litters, he revert to 799 per liter.
The catch is you would be supplied the quantity that the current price can buy with the already made payment.
He has proven that he can not be trusted.
It's time for government to place high tariffs on export of Petroleum products by dangote while using it to subsidize import and cutting off completely naira for crude sales by NNPC.
He will have no option than to negotiate fixed local price for the product or drink it if no country is willing to buy from him.
It's about time Nigeria government begin reaping foreign exchange from that refinery or render it useless should dangotes greed persist. Did I just read high tariffs on exports from dangote to subsidize imports? What happened to NNPC, the marketers, and other Nigerians building their own refineries to compete with dangote refinery. In 2001, people bought GSM SIM for over 20k. Today, it's less than 200 Naira. Some Telco's even give it out free of charge. That's the power of the market. Thesolutions, your solution here is a problem. |

musicwriter: As I've pointed out in similar stories, beware of Western propaganda!!
The reason you're seeing this type of news these days is because the third world war is already being planned out.
The west is aware that our allegiance won't favor them.
Lessons from slavery.... Lessons from colonialism... Lessons from neocolonialism....
African soldiers who helped them win the second word war were abandoned. No gratuities paid, no remembrance, we got nothing in return.
Now, they're courting African nations with all sort of mind games. Don't fall for it!! That's how they fool people!!
We're better off being used by Russia or China in the upcoming third world war than being used by white people again.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Bro, in whatever you do. Don't fight another man's war. Africans have done enough. We should be left alone |

brain54: Performance wise both their styles are different...
Both the tone, structure of the music and the physicality with femi being more physical and energetic! I was listening the a song yesterday with my elder brother. I mentioned to him that Fela's songs are evergreen. He replied that it wasn't Fela, but Femi. I insisted and he agreed with me. After a short while, he retorted, that's Femi, don't confuse me. We ended checking and truly it was Femi. I have heard that song many times and always thought it was one of Fela's songs |

Salah just became like some other African great players that could not win the Afcon for their country. This is most likely his last tournament. Na this one Sadio Mané take pass am.
My concern now is that would Morroco allow Naija a pass to the final given that Egypt their fellow Arab country just got booted out by Senegal?? That match is most definitely gonna be a tough battle for us.
Whether them allow or not them go chop am |

Same Nigerian Army that killed unarmed young people at Lekki toll gate. Same Army whose soldier killed a 13 year boy trying to protect his sister. Same Nigerian Army personnel that saw Nigerian pupils dying on the road after their school bus had an head on collision with a truck somewhere around Ore in December 2013, they cleared the traffic that resulted from the accident and drove away with their Chinese expatriates, leaving the kids to their fate.
