So from the 200 million people in Nigeria, we can't put resources together to build our own ships. A technology that has existed for centuries. This is shameful

Is it that the education in Africa is different from rest of the world?

We do have a long way to go

Romance / Re: She'd Be 31 Soon This Month, Looking For A Life Partner by weslay: 12:19am On Apr 15
TooResilient:
She'd be 31 soon.

Looking for a life partner 31 to 35 years.

She's settling up her business.

She doesn't want yoruba and igbo men because somehow she's not been fortunate with them in the past.

She has big dreams and big life goals like becoming a CEO and also a citizen of a first world country, also promised that her children will be first world citizens to give them a good future.

She's already working towards achieving that.

She's a bit stubborn in terms of pursuing and achieving life goals which some men don't like about her.

She's quite ambitious.

Not an introvert but loves staying indoors.

She's tall/dark/averagely thick/on low cut because she doesn't like making her hair(maybe if cajoled by her lover she'd make hair).

Resides between Lagos/Ogun.

The email attached to this account has been deactivated but you can reach her on lovey.dovey93@protomail.com for a serious relationship.

No jokes or play, she wants a man that really wants to get married.

Reading through your post, I can readily see why you are still single. A successful man that knows his stuff will not want to mess with you. All your lofty dreams will only attract unambitious blokes who would want to take advantage of you.
I pray you get what you are searching for. But I suggest your priority needs to change.

I am sincerely concerned for all men who don't have working wives during this trying time. I pray that time is kind to you and that God meets all your needs. It is well

Working wives? Hell no. Husbands and wives working, who's going to raise the kids? As a man always create multiple streams of income so the wife can raise the kids especially while they are young. Else you have strangers raising your kids

See finish no good, same reason I relate with my neighbors on superficial level and they gimme my respect 100%, my intimidating muscular stature alone would make anyone think twice before acting laidat to me, it wasn't written, and it's instalmental, I have refunded all the money to you, what else do you want, dem no born that basstard well. I will beat you up, personally, use area boys to make life miserable for you as in they will be chasing you anytime you coming back from work and going to work,

I no get time to report to police, but believe me, this matter too small for me to handle. Them no born am well.

Baba, read the story again. This time put yourself in the position of the buyer. Then imagine the seller saying he is no longer selling after you have made full payment for the vehicle. Would you sheepishly walk away because refunded all your money?
Car Talk / Re: My Neighbour Jacked Up My Car by weslay: 9:52am On Feb 17
ExudeLoveToAll:
Transaction has been completed without you even knowing.

If I was your neighbor, I will proceed to a court and have an injunction restraining you or anyone from driving that car until the suite has been entertained by the court to determine the legitimate owner of that vehicle.

Mind you this suit can take five years to determine, no issue will drive that vehicle and the good thing is that he already has his money back as a guarantee meaning he has nothing to loose in making life difficult for you as a dishonest business man.

An oral agreement is admissible in court mind you and he has bank transactions to corroborate his oral evidence. People like you who think you can repudiate an agreement when the other party has fully complied with the terms of the agreement should be taught shown a precedence so that you don't do it to other people in the future.

In your mind you are smart, you don't even know the buyer has lost money because of future value of money. That you find yourself in this predicament has nothing to do with the buyer, business has been completed and there is nothing you can do about it. No court will give you custody of that vehicle of this matter gets to court.

The best for you is to seek peaceful settlement outside of the court process else you will loose everywhere.

Spot on. I read most the comments before this and I taught to myself most people are ignorant of the law. The OP failed to do his due diligence. He should take responsibility for his his inaction.

Business / Re: Can't Send Dollars To Nigeria Any More by weslay: 9:14am On Feb 09
Ttalk:
Good for the economy.

A government that is bold enough to remove subsidies should not be afraid of any backslash that may arise from any measure to save the naira.

Let all remittances be converted to the naira equivalent so the government can have enough dollars for people doing genuine business in need of dollars.

All domiciliary accounts with idle dollars should be taxed.

Why float the Naira and go behind to place restrictions to demand and supply? They can place all the restrictions they can come up with, but the demand will not go away. Because they themselves don't spend Naira. Do you think the president pays Naira for his medical trips overseas, or do you think the payment for Aisha Tinubu's recent birthday party on the island of Greneda was paid in Naira?

It’s for crowd control. Making sure the people coming in to market are people who should be in the market. That’s the only logical explanation I can think of.

As long as it isn’t a hidden charge, they let you know from the gate and you do have a choice to pay or turn back.

Are you saying Lagosians are so jobless that they have nothing valuable to do with their time than to wander about the markets?

Religion / Re: Should Church Music Instrumentalists Be Paid For Their Duties? by weslay: 12:23pm On Jan 28
Offpoint1:
Yes, if pastors are getting paid why do y'all want instrumentalist to play for free?
. After all the purpose of tithes and offerings is be used in running the church. (Giving to God is the psychological way to manipulate the people to give. We all know logically, you can't literally give God nothing)

Church business is the most lucrative business, everything is expected to be done for free while millions are being made monthly.

I stopped going to church because no one can convince me church isn't business center.

When these men talked about expanding kingdom, it has nothing to do with souls. It's all about building more church branches for profitability. It's all about numbers, whether they are save or not.

The local churches are tasked with weekly budgets they'll deliver to the headquarters, pastors that don't meet up their financial targets for long are mostly transfered to village branches or lower churches as form of punishment.

Most of these pastors had to result into holding on ending weekly services and organizing crusades, invite sweet talkers fellow pastors, just to meet up these targets.

I've seen a lot of things and I doubt I'll ever go to church again.

These men don't give a shit about your salvation.
You see those wretched looking pastors? They're mostky the true pastors who refused to compromised.

This is the reason many church goers today are not saved. Quantity over quality.
Religion / Re: Nigerian Man Berates Church For Holding Service During Working Hours (Video) by weslay: 10:40pm On Jan 26
I think the government is to be blamed for this. Do you know how many businesses have this country in the last 10years?

That's the result right there.

Innoson Motors plant is in the East. How many Eastern governors use Innoson cars? How many of them have made Innoson the official car for all government officials in their respective states? That's how you create employment. When you create employment, situations like this end naturally.

How does getting your own country fixes the OP current predicament?

So the young lady and her uncle died in vain. The other girls have been released. Case closed.

Are there any private security contractors in Nigeria that can help get the killers?
Romance / Re: My Neighbor And His Wife by weslay: 10:25am On Jan 20
The lady in question has zero accountability. How does going to empty waste bin become MIA for two hours and she doesn't expect any questions on her whereabout.

For her to explain her whereabouts she begins to cry. For what exactly? And you OP could not see beyond her crocodile tears.

The bro should do away with her sorry ass. Her eye still dey outside.
