Much of Lagos is indeed safe - to the extent that it is largely untroubled by the spectacular killings and kidnappings by bandits roaming the country. Specifically, elite neighborhoods are specially safe.

I make bold to say that the reason why Lagos is relatively calm (not safe) and not witnessing the sort of mass killings and kidnappings prevalent in other parts of the country, is because of the large population density.

Such kidnappings and mass slaughter requires that communities are isolated from the major urban areas.
This gives room for the bandits to be able to strike and escape on roads that are mostly empty at nights.

No part of Lagos is that isolated.

My experience with bamboo scaffolding...

Look out for matured stems when buying: they last longer, and are more resistant to insect pests.

More important, after the formwork for the top floors are done, if you can afford to, also do the plastering of the externals walls immediately while the bamboo scaffolding is still in place.

I have seen video clips of black people tackled to the ground by a team of racist cops after much less "provocation" than this lady attorney displayed in standing up for her rights, and I also noted that NO backup drove up when the officer requested it.

Finally, the gigantic fake eyelashes and acres of cleavage shown by the woman led me to doubt that she was an attorney, since an older woman who is not in particularly good physical shape ought to know that dressing in a revealing manner could become an irritant to a judge in court.

On balance, I just don't know whether or not this is an authentic clip.

However, the moment the lady turned her back, bent over and reached into the trunk for her business card (and did it a second time to fetch her ID) I expected the cop to shout a warning and maybe even pull out his sidearm and aim at her.

Another observation: that car was involved in an accident before it got fixed and repainted and shipped down to Naija.
You can tell by the white paint at the door handles.
Factory painting will never put such design on cars. Many salvaged and re-painted cars are sometimes touched up that way. Not sure why.
