Brother, you want to leave Access? Wondering how I knew? E-channel.
Well, try 3 years of work experience. It should boost your score a little. Didn't you do Nysc? It's also a work experience. Did you do OND and HND? If yes, do ECA for both results and choose 2 or more qualifications in the CRS page. It will help.
the Lol..not Access |

Zutlin: Let your work experience be up to 3 years. Alongside, get a PGD or Masters. I hear NOUN is very fast. Stay away from regular Nigerian universities.
Few pages back, someone mentioned getting a Postgraduate certificate from British Computer Society. You might want to read up. Thank you Zutlin. I'll check that out now |

Jennypharb1: I think you should let your work experience get to 3yrs, then you can either write TEF exams or get a masters degree to increase your points
I don't know about the NOC code but maybe you can post your job description and I'm sure someone will help with it Thank you for your response Jenny My JD is outlined below; (Settlement/Reconciliation) Responsibilities ▪ Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts ▪ Settlement of Visa Domestic Transactions ▪ ATM Transfer Reconciliation ▪ ATM Till and Interswitch TSS Reconciliation ▪ Retail Internet Banking Account Reconciliation ▪ Airtime Recharge and Bill payments Dispute ▪ ATM / POS Chargeback (NOU VISA ) ▪ ATM / POS Dispute (NOU VISA) ▪ Remita Corporate Account Registration ▪ Remita Inflow and Outflow Confirmation Reconciliation of NIBSS Electronic Funds Transfer |

Greetings to the elders in the house, I am new here and i must commend the selfless handles for the guide and generous assistance. I am here for help too. I went the student route last year but was denied for 5 different reason, all of which pointed to the fact that the VO isn't convinced i'll be back after my program. So painful ehn!! even after i payed my fees in full. I expressed my frustration and broken heart in the student forum then, and someone advised i go for the EE program. I made my own little research, coupled with the full support my cousin (PR in canada) is giving me. All CRS simulation i ran on CIC website keeps me at 410. To all the handles in this forum, help a brother please... Don't know which NOC my JD falls IELTS exam slated for 27-04-2019 MOD WES ECA underway(started since nov) What else can i do to bosst my score Profile 1. 26 years of age by July 2. 2 yr+ work experience (E-channels Operation/ Banking Industry) 3. Bsc. Stattistics 4. ECA with WES almost complete 5. IELTS exam by april All contributions are welcome I humble oooooo my people. |

Henrykingiv: Hello I was rejected on the following grounds.
Travel History Family ties Purpose of visit Current employment situation Financial status and Personal asset
Now the thing is that all the above mentioned, I presented documents for them including travel history as well, I also presented family asset because my father is my sponsor and his financial statements was about 18m. My application process took less than two weeks and a decision was made.
Could it be that I made an error feeling my application form. Or what do u guys think I was denied just few days ago for the same reasons stated above, but bro dont be discouraged really...felt thesame way too but the hope is alive .....the next will be an approval. Keep faith |

nivlek000: Hi Guys!
I'm super excited. Finally Got approved!
My hugging partner harde116 up next!
Applied on 20th of April,
Did medical upfront
Applied for an MSc Degree
Didn't get an Approval mail just checked online as soon as I saw Harde116 had his medical request
I applied with: The required online documents IMXXXX Sponsorship Letter Sponsors Investment Letters (Treasury Bills) Payment Instructions for Part Payment SWIFT Message Confirming Successful Transfer of Part Payment Funds Sponsors Bank Account Statement (4 months) Admission Acceptance Fee Payment Notification Employment Letter for My Current Job Admission Letter from School A 2 page SOP in the Client Information section Proof of Medical Exam Passport Photo Scanned Passport and Visa Pages
Note the following: 1. Up until today only Biometrics showed Completed and Background check has been running since, Eligibility just went under review on the online platform too. Still there
2. Also, according to the document (and like I was informed in this group even as I found it hard to belive), visa will only be issued for till the expiry of the passport so I'll apply for an extension when I'm in Canada by Gods Grace after renewing my Passport when I land in Ontario (not my final destination). I didn't renew my passport because of the 9 or 6 months renewal rule. Chose not to renew my passport after I submitted because I applied based on the current passport data. Also because I read somewhere about the passport having to be more than 6 months old (I doubt the veracity though but better safe than sorry)
3. You're the first people I'm sharing this news with. I really appreciate this forum.
4. Nursing malaria's gonna wait cuz this Nigga's driving to VFS asap.
Thank you all for your assistance and hope. #GodsGrace Congrats Sir. I rejoice with you. |

mcobex: Your parents can serve as home tie. The main thing is give the vo a genuine reason it reasons why you will return back to Nigeriaafter your studies..... it might be cos of family properties you will inherit after studies in naija, it might be job prospects in naija, etc. Just give genuine reasons why you will return to Nigeria after your studies(cos as a foreign student you are suppose to leave Canada after studies) @mcobex...thank you..What seem to baffle me the more is the employment situation stated by the VO, after showing my payslip, employment letter and reference from employers ( just as i stated previously, i dont earn much as a contract staff) |

mcobex: Sorry about the delay, first things first..... Order for your GCMS note ASAP so you can know the real reasons behind the delay. Secondly, you have to show on your SOP how related Statistics(your previous course) is to Info Tech(your proposed course).... you have to explain to the vo like he/she knows nothing about both courses. Concerning home ties, make sure you give the vo genuine reasons why you will come back to nigeria after your programme and make sure you include the IDs of all your siblings(if possible). You also need to explain in detail why you choosed to study in Canada(which is very expensive) and not Nigeria....cos same course is being taught by most unis in Nigeria. NB: ORDER FOR YOUR GCMS NOTE, IT WILL GO A LONG WAY IN YOUR NEXT APP. Thank you @mcobex and @biakwa,...how else can i go about the family ties? I happen to be the only child though i ve half siblings. will that be accepted? |
