what I'll u say about the saying ? "The rich getting richer while the poor getting poorer" 🙄
What's there to say about it?
That's capitalism at it's finest.
The rich are getting richer because they have investments to make them richer. The poor man has no investments, probably only relies on salary for survival, and with time his salary can't cover the rising costs of things and inflation thereby causing him to reduce his standard of living and in turn makes him look poorer.

If y'all claim matches are being fixed and you're sure about it, then why do you keep on gambling? Knowing what you know, and still you decide to willingly bet, then it means you're a bet addict.

it do occur but very rare stuff.... infact back then when this thing never enter computer I use to win back to back with my 100naira with plenty games accumulate....I should've be a pro by now knowing almost all the teams as I've been in the game for long....but no,the more the world advance the more all old punters looking like novice in the game.... As if they just started punting.... lemme tell sometimes back then I take draws games from old men who've been punting for long, those useless English pool draw. ..guess what! When results comes out u'll be seeing 1/4, sometimes ehee everything they cut grin grin ....those are people that have spent almost 50yrs in the game.
The game of football has evolved/changed, so why do you expect the results to be the same from years back. The big boys that were strong and dominating that time, do you see them again? It's obvious to everyone that the quality of football has dropped, so it's expected to see upsets more often than not. How many big teams except Barcelona now rely on their academies for talent? They prefer to buy young players that have made names in small teams.

Do you also know that now smaller teams are being bought by people with enough money to spend on player development? Smaller teams look for decent talent, develop them well, and use them to cause upsets. It's not like before where only the big teams can afford the best physical trainers and coaches for the players.

all this one no count.... Bookies is one big organization u can't mess with.... They are very secretive like the drug business.....they are things the top dogs will know the bottom will never know.....go to anywhere to bet man UTD to win Brentford today u'll never find the odd for man UTD to be different from other bookies like 2.4 odd instead of the 1.80 range they give ..... The source of their odd is coming from 1 source ..that alone tells u how discipline they are ....top secret things they know most bettors will never know.... hence they call it gambling which means not all outcome are true as they reflect....it's only a child that will think betting is base in pure luck.
Oga answer my question. In the days when bookies were literally non existent, did small teams beat big teams or not?

The funny thing is you can never hear the real supporters of a big team shouting "fixed match" when their team loses. Na gamblers anthem be that.

so u expect them to do it opening?🙄
Some of the big team players are suffering from fatigue from playing multiple competitions. Or do you imagine that because they play for big teams, they are not humans like other smaller teams?

Do you think if bookies pays clubs money for match fixing on such a huge scale, e for never cast? Because a lot of people will be involved including the players and definitely someone will be a whistle blower.

You are just talking like this because your ticket cut. Do you want to tell me that 20 to 30 years ago when betting did not exist, small teams didn't beat big teams? From the very beginning of football, there have always been upsets. That's the beauty of football.

Unfortunately betting has programmed some people's mind to believe that the big team/small odd "Must" win every time.

I don't think we Nigerians are aware how little tax we currently pay compared to others, and by how much it is going to rise.

The planned rise in tax is in fact the reason we are being lent money.
Why don't you compare Nigeria's minimum wage to those countries also. Nigeria is battling high inflation and has a very low purchasing power index compared to those other countries

A 1 dollar and 1 pound note has more purchasing power than 1000 naira abroad

A 1 dollar and 1 pound note still has a higher purchasing power than 1000 naira note in Nigeria
