@ Nicetohave Longest time. I was wondering what happened to you. I almost sent you an e-mail just to find out what's up with you. Missed your posts though. Glad to know you are around. @Akolawale Nicetohave has told you who the chic is. He said 'Bagoma'. Check his last post. Guess i didn't act fast enough. Bagoma beat me to it! |
@sbucareer Aww! I wish you guys had met though. I could just imagine you waiting for him to show up. Anyway, all is well that ends well. I sincerely hope Gbenga is fine too. Thanks for taking time to reply me. Hope you had a swell weekend despite the disappointment. |
Hmmm . . . I like this. I like it when Nairalanders meet one another. So Gbenga and Sbucareer, please tell us how your 'meeting' went. I 'm eager to know! |
@Kokscity Okay then. But seriously Koks, ease up on Snazzy a bit. I donot support what she did but it definately cannot be compared to credit card theft, 419, and husband snatching!! Many of us (not all) did similar things when we were younger. We didn't mean any harm but just wanted to feel among. So please, let her be, okay? |

@Kokscity What do you mean 'people with dubious character'? Do we sound dubious to you? |
Well, i've had three: Dean was the first . Was in secondary school then. It ended when we graduated. The 2nd: Chiadi, it lasted for a couple of months. Broke up when we got to a crossroad. The 3rd: I dont want to mention his name. We are through now (though he doesn't know that). I found out some odds from his past which he hid from me. There were other side attractions sha. |
@Temiboye Of course first bank is recruiting at entry level. Do not send your cv to them, rather, go to their website and apply online. I did so last night and it went well. |
Boy! This thread is so hilarius! Have not laughed this hard in ages. Seriously snazzy, i dont envy you at all oh! @Kokscity man, i didn't know you are this funny. My perception on your person has begun to change. Keep up the humour man. But. . . Whitelady is still scared of kokscity!!! |
This is so sad! I wonder how people can be so trusting. |
I vote Goodguy. He spends the most time each day (on the average) on nairaland. |
Mine says 5 days, 6 hours 18 mins. The price should go to neither Seun nor Hot Angel. I think it goes to Goodguy. Considering the fact that all nairaland users did not register at the same time, the time meter should be calculated thus: A/(B - C) * 100% where A is the aggregate time spent on nairaland, B is the current date and time (e.g. 19/02/06; 10pm), and C is the day and time a member registered. This should give a more accurate information on the most active nairalanders (one who spends the most time on the land). Seun, think about this. This should encourage others like who registered late last year or early this year, and yet spend so much time on this land each day. |
Hello please i'll also like to know the price of Nokia 3650. Thanks in advance for your replies. |
No, they are definately not!!! |

First, i'll find out if i am infected too. If i am, then i'll go ahead with the marriage 'plans'. But if i am not, i 'll scram with style! |
@ LoverBowy Very funny but so true. |
@ LoverBowy Very funny. |
Thanks everyone for your empathy and advice. We (my family) made official complaints to both ends (fedex USA and fedex Nigeria). The US end gave a refund of the delivery fee paid to them initially. They were suprised at the money we had to pay at the Nigerian end and promised to look into it. Fedex Nigeria did nothing about it and we got tired of dealing with them. Now, another dilema. A laptop has to be sent to me from the US. I would have prefered to have it sent through anyone coming to Nigeria, but dont know anyone coming down around this time (until december). So, i am thinking of using DHL, but i am really scared. I dont want suprises: Custom charges; NDLEA fees; Police tips; Area boys settlement; Dellvery charges; and the likes! Any suggestion please? |
Oh, and i'll love to see these people, though from a distance cos i'm scared of 'em: korkscity- ...( ..don't want to say what i think..) freewilly- she might just hit me! |

I'll like to meet Mamba- he helped sovle a problem with my phone plus he is very witty. CimonJorr- he strikes me as a very articulate fellow. He sounds like a lawyer though i know he is not. Nicetohave- blessed are the peace makers. Sounds like a really gentle guy. Layi- just want to find out what this "jack of all trade master of all" looks like and maybe get some 'success tips' from him. Whiteshark/C0dec- they have a very good sense of humor. They make me laugh often. Tayotina- just want to find out if she is as i have imagined. KC - very creative and talented lady. More later |
@dejiolowe arent you married? |
@ waal5 It closes 2 weeks from Tuesday, the 24th of January 2006. |
Let me help you out mikebuddy. Let me guess his age. Here it goes: finished uni at 24 served for 1 year, has 4 years experience, total: 24 + 1 + 4 = 29. My guess is that he will be 29 this year. If not, he should be between 28 and 32. |
You dont have to kill yourself cos of that. Havent you heard of orphans who eventually made it in life? And i tell you, most struggled on their own. One thing you have to know is that ones certificate(s) does not guarantee success in life. There are many successful men who did not have they opportunity to attend the higher institution. I just believe that u can do exploits with you have already(your diploma). Just believe in yourself. |
My father! |
Restitution: What Is Your Opinion? A traditional man heard the gospel of Christ and gave his life to Christ. He, with his two wives and 15 children began to attend church and were very zealous for the Lord. One day, the pastor preached a very powerful sermon on restitution. He said that every man must marry only one wife, and thus church members who had more than one wife should send the other(s) with their children away. That the other wives should go look for their own husbands. This man was in a fix: how could/would he send his wife, who has lived with him for 20 years, and his seven kids away? Restitution is preached in many churches. And believe me, it is not an easy matter. I just want to know your opinion about it. Is it right or wrong? |
