@ Papa I say a loud AMEN to that prayer of yours. That sounds more like it. |

I know there are false churches all around. But does this mean we should shun going to church? Or stop paying tithes and giving offerings? My take on this is that every human being has a brain to think/ reason. The Bible says "wisdom profiteth to direct". I believe all Christians should be like the Beureans. When Paul preached to the Beaureans, they didnt just take Paul's word b'cos "a mighty man of God with great authority, with signs and wonders following his every step" had spoken. They searched the scriptures! I pay tithes, i give offerings, i help those in need (in my own little way), not b'cos it makes me holier or better than others, but b'cos i am convinced in my heart, and believe it is the right way to go. Thus, it has become my nature. I couldn't care less if the pastor, or church, or needy used it anyhow they deemed fit. It was freely given! If all men were thinkers, and not mere reflectors of other men's thoughts, people wouldnt be deceived, compelled to give tithe/ offerings, conned by false teacher/pastors/prophets! |

Tell us about your marriage. |
What! Bagoma! How could you say that?! How could you dash the very hopes you gave me? I had no hope with nicetohave till you gave me high hopes. To think i had to call it quits with my man cos . . . Such high hopes! Now your crystal says something different? My God! Wish i could lay my hands on that crystal of yours! I'ld throw it into the bermuda triangle, where it would never be recovered! And my "addiction" for nice? It beats me lady, it beats me! I came to this land to find something else then i saw nice, i read his posts, i got hooked! Well, i'll just lie low and wait for kola to reveal the lady. I'll check her out and if i think i am as hot as she is, then she's in for some competition! If not, then i'll just go make up with my ex. I definitely can lose both ways! |
Kola, anything is possible. |
@kola Are you a racist or tribalistic? Just tell me what race or tribe appeals to nicetohave, then i'll make sure i am from that side! Anything for nice! And no, i am not a Cross-Riverian. |
Hmmm . . .This is a tough one. I love my mother so very much and on the other hand, my husband and i should be one! So whom do i choose? I pray such situation never arises. |
@ kola i aint Ibo. Neither am i Hausa. I sure am looking forward to that "family meeting" you talked about. And sure, you can reveal everything to nairalanders. At least they already know the bottomline: i am "tripping" for your brother / cousin! |
Easy Tx, easy. |
Well, what can i say? Everything that needs to be said has been said. But if you love him like i know he does, then i will advice you to give him the benefit of the doubt! |
@Topic I know that for a fact. I dont know why guyz do that though. I have lots of brothers and when we were younger, no g.u.y dare come look for any of their sisters, talkless of their friends asking after us. Infact if any of their friends as much as complimented us, that g.u.y would feel their wrath! I remember one incident vividly. Our house used to be filled with guyz (my brothers' friends) on a normal day. There was this particular boy that became interested in one of my sisters. He made passes at her and my sis responded positively. Anytime the boy was around, my sis behaved funny; her tone changes, her steps changes, etc. My brothers got wind of it and boy, they were so mad! It almost led to a physical combat between them and that friend. They had to stop him from coming to our house. And we the sisters? We were made prisoners in our own house! We were forbidden from showing our faces any time ANY OF THEIR FRIENDS was around. And thus we were kind of locked in our rooms like everyday. We couldnt even go to the kitchen, the livingroom, outside for fear of running into the "friends". Talk to any of their friends? You'll be in deep trouble! I still dont know why brothers do that though. |
