Abbycrown: I disagree with this. The whole training and attachment is for 4 months, but the peeps in the present batch undergoing training have already been told that they are spending 3-4weeks in the academy. How or where they are spending the remaining 3 months, I have no idea. But once the academy is free, the next batch should be called in now. My opinion though.

how I wish its true cos personally I can't wait to resume with this guys. Those who are at the training school should be able to clarify that

@ all I think we should all relax. A guy at the headquarter today said according to the hr there would be 3 batches and each batch would last for 4 months and that the second batch won't resume until october. The implication is that the third batch won't resume till february next year. So for now let's take off our mind from first bank till they call us.

Godysien: @Oyi and co: I don't ve Waec cert now cos i didn't register for it. It was only Neco that i took which i cleared all at once and 've been using that since. So u mean they need Waec cert only for age verification? What if i show them an ID like voter's card or national ID card, wouldn't they accept it? Pls respond fast.Thanks

I said it that they ought to have sent all the invites at once. Condust the medical/documentation at once so that they can have a pool to choose from

eemmyyy: Continue prayingn hoping whiz n all. like vivi said some batch 1 did not scale thru doc/med n i hear their target audience for batch1 is 120, of which we r incomplete and they will definitely complete it by inviting peeps to join us cos they speent much for this training. Congrats all the new peeps of Nairallanders in batch1. try and meet us (fellow nairalanders in the same batch), so that we can furnish u with th little we have done. Imagine how happy we felt when I and cnwokike met yesterday during dinner. deko, vivi, kaydagr8, Bo, etc. we will soon see or call me on 08066898757 during leisure... peeps that all are waiting; may the God of surprise surprise u with immediate invitation....

relax bro. Am sure those that were called today were either assessed in lagos or dropped an address within the south west cos the impromptu is too much

@ all let's just wait for those that are slated for medicals tomorrow. Its obvious that the hq is now in charge compared to last week when the training school staff were given us false info. The fact that some peeps who didn't get the initial sms have been invited is enough hope for those yet to get any sms at all.

I think eemmy is right. Someone was invited through a call for medicals/documentation on monday and I learnt another person got the invite today. These are peeps who didn't get the initial congratulatory sms.

Eemmy and vivicatee you guys should locate yourself together with other nairalanders at the academy. The brotherly love must continue.

I think the deadline has been extended till next week friday. Please does uniben conduct entrance exam for its postgraduate studies?

my take is that if fbn can come out during the assessment to give participants a download of the stats in terms of those who wrote the test and those who passed they should be able to do so for those in the training school now unless they have something to hide.

if I may ask let's know the content of the msg so that others who might probably have the complete version can help. But I think that should be the least of your problem now. If you guys are saying this what happens to those that haven't receive any message.

eemmyyy: for the upcoming batch, Is likely that u will be called by the end of the month if the assumption of Batch 1 training is to be 4 weeks intenxive class training and 3 months posting attachments (bear in mind that letter says the training will be 4 4 months, only them know how they planned it). If the training will continue to run in the First academy in Iganmu thruout that 4 months, am afraid to say that batch 2 may be sept. Whichever way or time it comes, keep being hopeful cos it worths it.

Even those that did not receive success sms txt, there is a tendency that u may be invited cos some of my batchmates did not make it through to medicals. And i think for FBN to make these huge financial commitment, they are ready to assimilate as much as they can . So dear pals.... ''let's keep hope alive''

thanks bro. Think that's the mistake fbn made . They should have allowed everyone that got the success sms to have their documentation/medicals at once. By so doing they would have a pool to choose from in the event of some peeps not making it.

@ eemmy you just wrote 4 months. Don't tell me you guys are going to spend 4 months in that place or is it the one month training school and 3 months attachment that is still obtainable?

eemmyyy: @whiz, I hv bn trying to update since an hour ago but network in Iganmu is not funny. I even lost complete net signals in my etis... Anyway, it will stl go...

Finally, we arrived and waited untill 4pm b4 they offer us our letters (to cover 4 d period of 4 months). Those that came outside Lagos was given an accomodation (believe me is more to imagination than i expected... I mean nice). FBN is to take care of feeding ranging from breakfast, breaktea, lunch and dinner. Sporting facilities was also said to be provided ofwhich they made compulsory in the sms invite that everyone must come with a sport wears. Training is to commence 2moro by 8am and expected to end by 6pm.

For those that did medicals and wasn't invited. The reason might span from common technical error from mgt or inconcurrence of documents provided like age or what-a-view.

The problem might also be from medicals cos a colleague i did medical with wasn't invited and when she came to find out why, she was told that the medical reads pregnancy for her. She insisted she aint pregnant unless what happened in Isaiah has happened to her. Finally she was asked to go to HQ to do confirmatory. Am yet to ask her the thereafter. Funny enough, I heard that a guy was mistakenly pened pregnant untill they sort it out...

well it depends but with reference to the one I went for we had several issues in that regard. Some complained of their original birth cert got lost and the rest. But what I noticed that day was that the man in charge asterisked the point where the date of birth was written on the original waec cert as well as the one on the date of birth cert. I concluded that the most important thing is that irrespective of whether you are using a sworn affidavit or not , the most important thing is for it to correspond with the one on your waec cert.

A warning to those that haven't gone for their documentation. Please if you don't have the originals of your waec certificate please go and collect it. I once went for documentation recently and the man in charge was telling some peeps that its not possible for them not to have the originals 5 years after leaving secondary school. If you don't have the originals you are obviously shooting yourself on the leg.

don't tell me you don't have the contact of peeps you had the documentation/medicals together. Just call one of them to find out.
