Mfunkynation: On the contrary boss, I didn't get the job from Nairaland at all. I wasn't even noticed on Nairaland. I was contacted via Facebook after I dropped a review on my Facebook wall, the review really went wide and gained them popularity. If anything, I owe my Facebook family, their shares, comments and likes got me here. Thank you. Modified: Everybody is in our plans both long term and short term, those who have joined the group have been asked to drop their locations. And nobody is taking anybody, it's only an official channel where we can relate directly with our Nigerian family, listen to your suggestions and feedbacks and also make future plans that will feature you all. 5 Likes |

priceaction: I didn't wish to dignify you with a response because if we're being honest with ourselves, you don't deserve one. But for the sake of those that will read this nonsense you wrote up there and be misled, I have to. What if I tell you the same people running the official Facebook and Twitter pages are the same people running this WhatsApp group? The group is currently run by the Content Specialist and Community Manager at Xiaomi Nigeria, do you think we'd create a WhatsApp group without purpose? I remember when Xiaomi just launched in Nigeria, y'all on this thread complained that they got influencers from Twitter who knew nothing about the brand to promote them while neglecting y'all. I got a chance, I was employed as an online brand ambassador for the firm, first thing I did was to introduce this thread to them and let them know of the good works y'all have been doing here. With the approval of Xiaomi Nigeria, we've decided to create a MI community just for our Nairaland fans and you're here judging us from afar. Do you know how many hangouts y'all have missed out on? How many giveaways? How many interactive sessions, lectures, games fiesta y'all have missed even though many of y'all here have been using Xiaomi devices for more than five years? We organised a MeetUp some time ago for our MI Community in Nigeria, guess those who attended? People who just started using Xiaomi devices less than six months ago. Don't y'all deserve to enjoy all these being our pioneer customers and fans in Nigeria? Before you judge or spill all the negativity in you just like Nairalanders are know for, can you at least join the group first and know what it is about, don't condemn what you know nothing about. I'm glad I have people like Genius43, Olayinkajnr, atheistandproud, Neomatrix1027 and a host of others there. You can ask them to tell you if the group looks legit or not. Now that Xiaomi Nigeria has decided to unite our Nairaland family, you either seize the opportunity or lose it. But nobody should come here after today to lament that Xiaomi doesn't care about y'all when you start seeing pictures from sponsored events and hangouts that you weren't invited to or informed about. For those in the group already, we're waiting to hit 100 members then we start, we'd share pictures from our last MeetUp we organised for the MI Community in Lagos. For those who want to join, here's the link: https:// chat. whatsapp .com/Hb07mpo3iydFD22UK0cGrl Remove the spaces. Thank you all, and do have a pleasant Sunday. 16 Likes |

scotweezy: You have a valid point. But not everybody is on Telegram, WhatsApp is more mainstream. We can start with WhatsApp for now, when we max it out, we can then jointly move to Telegram. |

Hello guys, good evening. Some of you may know me on this thread, I joined the Xiaomi train some months back. I'm now with Xiaomi Nigeria as a brand ambassador and we're currently looking at uniting all Xiaomi users, enthusiasts and fans in Nigeria and creating a formidable MI community of MI fans. We have a lot going on already and now we think it's the right time to bring our Nairaland family into the fold. To achieve this, we've created a WhatsApp group where we can all converge, share ideas together and make plans together. If you've been looking for a way to get in touch directly with us at Xiaomi Nigeria with your feedbacks, reviews and suggestions, this may just be your opportunity. Here's the link to the WhatsApp group: https:// chat. whatsapp .com/Hb07mpo3iydFD22UK0cGrl Kindly remove the spaces. Alternatively, you can quote me and drop your WhatsApp number, I'd add you to the group. Together, let's bring innovation to everyone..... The Xiaomi way. Peter Okere For Xiaomi Nigeria. 3 Likes |

sheggsliveth: With 4G on and online gaming (PES 2019), 7-8hrs of SOT takes my battery to around 20%. 3G gives me over 10hrs SOT at 20% with same usage . 1 Like |

messymelly: Tried already, didn't work. I was able to get a functional volume key with Zaza Remote. So now I increase volume with Zaza, Perform 'Next' with SURE and perform other functions (fast forward/reverse, prev, play/pause) with Universal DVD remote. This life... 2 Likes |

Hey guys, abeg I need good remote app that can control all these Chinese generic DVDs. Is there any? I have one here that has LG logo but when you boot it up what shows on the screen is 'Fortune Star'. I've tried a couple of apps, only one Akira remote managed to work but the buttons are grossly mismatched. No button controls the volume sef and that's the most important thing I need cos the DVD's volume is drastically low. Any possible suggestions? Abeg help your boy. |

Guys abeg, I use redmi 7. Is there anyway to move the clock from the left side of the screen to the right so that notifications can appear permanently on the status bar. Having the clock covering the left side of the status bar makes me see notifications late, and I sometimes could miss important urgent updates. Abeg.. |
