Bad breath or Halitosis is the bad odour that
comes out from the mouth of a person.
Halitosis is not a disease,so it can be easily
treated when you find out the reason why you
have bad breath.

Meanwhile there a some common causes
that give rise to bad breath,they are ;
accumulation of food particles in between the
teeth , accumulation of bacteria at the tongue,
smoking , consumption of low carbohydrate
foods,poor dental hygiene, menstruation, gum
diseases, lung infections , alcoholism, gall
bladder disorders. etc.

Some symptoms of bad breath are white particles on the tongue ,bitter taste , post nasal drip etc.
However inorder to prevent or get rid of bad
breath, here are some home or natural
remedies to help you do that.

LEMON
Lemon’s acidity content helps it to prevent the
growth of bacterias in the mouth and helps to
keep your breath refreshened.

Method
Mix 2-3 teaspoons of lemon juice with warm
water and salt, rinse your mouth with it,Repeat
this action daily for about 7 days and see it’s
effect.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
This is made up of anti-bacterial and antiseptic
properties which helps to fight against the
growth of bacterias in the mouth causing bad
breath..

Method
Mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a
glass of water and drink it before eating.

BAKING SODA
Baking soda is a very effective remedy for bad
breath because it helps to combat the
accumulation of bacterias in the mouth.

Method
Add a teaspoon of baking soda to your
toothbrush and have a mouthwash with it, this
remedy helps to regain breath freshness once
more.

NOTE : Do well to rinse your very well aftet
brushing your mouth with baking soda so as to
remove its particles from the
mouth, accumulation of its particles on the
mouth can cause teeth corrosion.

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
Hydrogen helps to prevent the mouth from bad
breath because it helps to remove bacterial
particles from the mouth.

Method
Add hydrogen peroxide with water and have a
mouthwash with it.This remedy is very goo d
to keep away from bad breath.

CINNAMON
This contains cinnamic aldehyde oil which
helps to stop bad breath by reducing the
growth of bacteria in the mouth.

Method
Boil a teaspoon of cinnamon powder with
water for 10minutes ,then rinse your mouth
with it.

However there are some foods that can also
help to treat bad breath by eating them, some of
these foods are;

– Banana

– yoghurt

– water

– milk

– chewing gum

– Pineapple

– Apple

– Fennel seeds

– Berries

– Honey

– Cheese.

There are some other tips that can help you
get rid of bad breath,they are ;

– Consumption of foods containing zinc ,
vitamin C & E

– Regular changing of toothbrush

– Proper dental hygiene

– Regular scrapping of the tongue

-Reduction in the intake of garlic and ginger

CONCLUSION

Do well to repeat the remedies daily, eat the
prescribed foods regularly and follow the tips
accordingly. If after doing all the above listed
and there’s no changes,then there’s need for
you to see a dentist.

Now this obsession is approaching the critical level.

This is more or less a platform for vainglorious, conceited, attention-craving narcissistic members of the female gender to bask in the false adulation bestowed on them by members of my androgynous gender. This is the height of cheapened vanity.

Do you have any dignity left in you?

Nairaland GeneralThunderstorm Kills 3 Sisters , One Pupil In Kwara by Whizzcute(op): 5:49am On May 28, 2015
Three pupils of the same parents and another pupil
were killed by thunderstorm in Gure, Baruten Local
Government Area of Kwara State, between 12
midnight and 1am on Wednesday.

Apart from the four dead female pupils, some
others were said to be unconscious and had been
rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The source said the three children of same parents
and the fourth, who came to pass the night with the
family, were sleeping when the thunderstorm broke
into the wall of the house in which they were
sleeping.

The downpour was said to have also rendered
several other people in the community homeless.
Our correspondent learnt that corpses of victims
had been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
The Chairman of the local government, Mallam
Mohammed Omar-Bio, confirmed the tragedy,
describing it as devastating and pathetic.

Meanwhile, this year’s Children’s Day celebration
in Oyo State was less glamorous as only a few
parents visited venues where children normally
meet to mark the day.

The dull celebration was not unconnected with the
strike embarked upon by workers in the state.
At the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, there was no
activity to mark the day as the gates were locked,
although policemen were noticed around the
stadium.

Usually, workers and other people visit the venue
with their children to celebrate the day, but on
Wednesday, no parent was in view as the place
remained quiet. It was the same all over at parks
and fun venues across the state.

However, churches, some private clubs and
individuals ensured that children still had the
opportunity to celebrate. At the St. Peter’s Catholic
Church, Apata, Ibadan, children from the
Archdiocese of Ibadan gathered to celebrate the
day.

They were engaged in quiz competitions, drama,
match past and other events.

It was the same at the indigenous Ibadan club,
Omo Aj’orosun Club, as over 1,000 children were
hosted and treated to a fun-filled celebration. They
were also offered gifts, like T-shirts, books and
food items.

The President of the club, Sharafadeen Alli, who
was a former Secretary to the State Government,
said the club was filling the gap created by the
present situation in the country. He said the
children were from across all the 11 councils in
Ibadan.
