I don't get it why we have different Gods, the Islamic God tells us that we are slaves that God can do whatever He wants to us as humans, and all we can do is thank Him for putting us in sickness, poverty, shame and other bad human situations. Just like how animals are at our mercy, likewise we, humans are at God's mercy.

While the Christianity God tells us that God is our father and we are His sons or children, so whenever situation we find ourselves we can pray to God to change our bad human situations.

I was having this thought because I was depressed, finding the essence of life, if the Gods of Islam and Christianity does not want humans to commit suicide when they are fed up, there should be a option for a human to pray for death and God should grant it.

You can't commit suicide neither is there an option pray for death. What can of life is that?

Hello everyone,

I downloaded Bybit Crypto Trading App last week, after completing the signup process, I was asked to do BVN verification.

I entered my BVN Number, instead for the app to let me do Selfie verification, I was logged out everytime since last week.

I even tried the NIN/ID Card verification, it is still the same thing.

I have attached the screenshot, whenever I press the continue button, it logs me off.

What can I do?

What about Hypotension, that is low blood pressure, when blood does not supply enough blood to the heart, brain & other parts of the body.

He attended Methodist Primary School which was were his musical talent was honed. As a youth, he was the lead vocalist on the Ifelodun Mambo Orchestra which was formed by the youths of Idogo community and participated in a lot of acting while growing up.


Ebenezer Obey Career
Ebenezer's professional career began with his move to Lagos in the mid1950s after being tutored under the Fatai Rolling-Dollar's band. Known for modernizing the sound of Juju by adding the funkiness of Yoruba drumming, more Western-style guitars and drum-kits, and adding multiple talking drums which was unlike what every other Juju musician was doing at the time.

In 1964, he formed his own band, The International Brothers which later metamorphosed into Inter-Reformers in the early-1970s, with a long list of Juju album hits under the West African Decca musical label, they excelled in praise singing for rich Nigerian socialites and business tycoons. They had hit singles, 'Ewa Wowun Ojumi Ri' and 'Olomi Gbo Temi (My Dearest Wife Listen to Me)' which was his debut single. In 1968, he released 'Omo wan n’re soja a fe sokun' which means 'We are crying because our sons are going to war' in a bid to console families whose sons were being conscripted into the army following the Biafran war.

In 1980, Obey enjoyed international acclaim with 'Current Affairs' and in the 1990s, retired into the Nigerian gospel music ministry.

Since his emergence into the music industry, he has released over hundred albums till date.

He formed the Ebenezer Obey Music Foundation Scholarship Scheme (EOMFSS) which was designed to grant scholarship awards to deserving indigenes and music students in various Tertiary institutions. He was the General Overseer of Decross International Ministries.

I have this hearing issue, there is sound in my head, sometimes it is clear, sometimes it is muffled, as if there is air or pressure in my head. I have been to General Hospital, they gave me 8th of March, 2024. I can't wait that long.

It's not like it happens all the time but it's advisable to try and rest even for 30 mins ( frm my experience after taking antimalarial drugs)

That time it happened, ur BP and pulse went up forcing blood flow up.

What's the other drug u said u took too?

That's all. Anti-Malarial and one flu medicine.

It shud. Unmentioned something like u can hear a bit but not so much after day 1 of taking the medicine.

Those antimalarial drugs can cause it temporarily.


By the way, have u been coughing or clearing ur throat lately ( about the time u took the drugs)

And when u took the drugs, did u try to sleep or u were up working?

When I took the drugs, I was up and working, grinding iron as if my life depends on it.

Your antimalarial dose was normal for an adult. There are single tablets with the same strength too. You take them if you don’t want too many tablets. Your flu drug contains something that can make you feel sleepy and it’s not suitable for you to take it during working hours because you are operating machines.

Lastly, you should
1. When you are taking medications try to give yourself time to recover before you fully expose yourself to any harsh environment.
2. please get trusted brands of medicines at trusted Locations to avoid unnecessary wahala
3. See a doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Everybody is shouting see an ENT DOCTOR as if you won't first book a very long appointment before you see them.

You can't wait till 8th March guy. You have to go to a private clinic. Maybe speak to a Nairaland mod or Seun and get approval to appeal here to Nairaland for funds. This year economically is a terrible year for a lot of Nigerians but we will try our best for you.

Will they give me the attention? Won't they say my case is not that heavy?

I don't want to put myself on false hope, what will be will be.

I know OP will start blaming village people or even conclude he bought fake drugs.

One thing I have noticed about Nigerians is that they ain't safety conscious......I have colleagues like that at work, even though educated some of them still behave like illiterates. To put on ordinary ear plug is a problem, they only do that whenever they sight safety officers on patrol.


I am very sure OP has never used an ear plug before, when you advice people like him they will say you're forming over sabi.


I have seen many roadside welders working with slippers instead of safety boot. 95% of them don't even wear coverall.

It is not like that, Nigerians didn't invent welding works, it was taught to us by the colonial masters, does a slave or servant wear boots and helmets like his master? No! That's what these servants teach their apprentice when they too become bosses, and the cycle continue.

I love all this safety measures and gadgets, but your fellow welders will see you as a SIMP or WEAK PERSON.

They believe a man should be strong. Imagine my boss telling me that he never sicks, saying no matter the sickness, all he takes is paracetamol.

Ur malaria drug may not be d curse of ur deafness...rather exposure to those noisy mechines u use over time could be the curse most welders over time become blind or deaf..it's not a good job but if u must do it adhere to all safety measure like wearing an earlid or good recommended dark shade

For this naija, if your fellow welders see you taking precautions by wearing all this safety gadgets, they will call you SIMP, they will say " he is not strong " . You can imagine.

The earlier you visit a doctor the better for u. There are 2 things u must do. 1.Discontinue using all the drugs because am not sure if the adverse drug reactions is as a result of both or one of the drugs. With time it can wear out.
2. Visit an ENT Doctor immediately.

I pray not, but if u don't take adequate measure now it can last u a life time.

I went to General Hospital yesterday Friday, they told me to make appointment with the ENT doctor, I told them it is urgent, they said they don't care, the appointment is on the 8th of March 2024. You can imagine.
