Petrovic, 23, has made 47 appearances in New England after signing in 2022 and quickly established himself after Turner departed for Arsenal. He was voted second in MLS Goalkeeper of the Year last season, despite playing only 21 of 34 matches after joining midseason. He was named a 2023 MLS All-Star.

He had the second-best save percentage of all MLS goalkeepers and four penalty kick saves, more than any goalkeeper since 2017.

He won MLS Save of the Year and came second in the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year voting, finishing behind Andre Blake
Andre Blake just swallowed four goals against steroids boosted inter Miami so this one should better stay at home.

was it ever "business as before" serious man? 😒
With the way we are spending on both young and old lesser graduates than before might be inducted into to be a mainstay in the first team unless they are very special. That's what business as before means.

which road, is it not the same Boehly that refused Tuchel getting rid of Colwill or the same board that insisted on giving Lewis hall a contract. Abi lewis hall was pre Boehly and Cucurella?
Colwill still went out on loan before and after boehly, hall came in because of injuries and is still likely to be loaned out of cucuruku isn't gone. You seeing all this spending and you think it's business like before for several Cobham graduates? Dey play.

You cannot believe those two things at the same time - wanting to sell Chelsea Youth for profit, but not wanting them to get automatic pass to the first team.

We have spent so much money on transfers, that WE HAVE to sell Cobham players at pure profit money. No way around it.

The problem is that without first team exposure, even the best prospects of Cobham players cost £5 max. There's not a lot of value there. You will only find one Livramento/Guehi (who manage to make very good success of a loan) and moves on for good money.

The big bucks come from the players that eventually get good, extended first team exposure - Mount, Tomori, Gallagher, Chalobah etc.

Therefore, I strongly believe that there MUST BE a clear policy in place that allows every Cobham player automatic pass to first team. It helps all the young players to be the best they can be and we benefit in two ways.

1. If you are good enough, maybe you get to displace a first team player (Case in point Reece James). And you save the club £30m/£40m plus in transfer fees.
2. If you are second tier, you get to earn the club £20m plus.

You will never achieve these two things without a clear policy in place. In fact, without a clear policy in place, you lose potentially revenue (case in point Mendel Idowu).
With the way clearlake capital are ready to spend for the first team including the numerous small children they buy, the road to the first team would now be tougher for cobham graduates. Even the ones we loan out that perform exceptionally well might still have the likelihood of being sold to balance our books. We would have to have a transfer ban like in 2019 to view some of the boys properly in the first team.

Unpopular opinion, with the new crop of players we have around now maybe we can give Lukaku a second chance.
If we are not able to bring in another striker in the remaining weeks, I won't mind him since he has stubbornly blocked the good moves we could have used to sell him. I was hoping we would have swapped him for vlahovic but it was not successful.

🚨 FFP : Chelsea’s estimated amortised spending in the past three windows under Boehly and Clearlake, using initial transfer figures reported by The Athletic, comes to £157.2 million - this significantly lower number is almost entirely offset by an accounting profit from player sales of £149.6 million over the same period! (@TheAthleticFC) genius in charge
No evidence !!!!! .

Ballzproblem2:
Chelsea went from incompetent midfield to best the midfield in premier league.

our attackers though 😐
If I say let's sign another elite finisher now they'll say I'm attacking Jackson. With our misfiring wingers, putting almost all the pressure on him to score might be counterproductive especially now that nkunku is injured and he's still adapting to epl. Unless broja comes good this season I believe we still need another good finisher.

Touches in opposition box una

Wetin concern DM and CM with that one

Only issue here is the aerial duels, which isn't that bad sef.... Seeing as we have Silva, Colwill, Badiashile and Disasi who are all 6 feet and over(Silva is the shortest at 6ft flat).
That's also why we signed Ugoo bekee, who's 6ft 3in (my height lol)

One of Andrey, Emeka and Sungballagher will have to leave shaa but that's okay.
Our midfield depth is scary and looks sorted out for the next few years if these guys live up to their potential. To think we still have Santos, Casadei, emeka, Lesley and that talented Ecuador boy that holy boehly signed earlier this year. I see few reasons why we can't be competing again for the premier league and champions league by the 2024 transfer window.

Hearing sterling saying he will be Chelsea highest goal scorer feels like mockery.

Sterling should go on loan to league one and come back after retirement😂😂😂
If he can do that there won't be any need to throw him away. We need serous minded players this season.

Don't be mistaken, the reason why these guys are rejecting Liverpool is because of their wage structure. They don't pay well unlike the other big 5

A clinical striker to compete with Jackson, Olise and another GK.
Lemme see how we will not return to champions league.
