At some point you will be forced to reduce the price to say maybe N250 and this will definitely lead to a loss in the long run.(The reason why you would reduce the price is because you have limited time to work with ghe keke if you are not the owner. You won't sit on your fuel hoping a customer that will pay higher fare will come when you know you will give the Keke to someone else to work with in the evening)

Another major point he's overlooking is the fact that as at the time the guy made the video he just finished his first round of trips and needed to refuel only for him to discover he's only been able to gain N50 on the initial N5,000 he spent on fuel. That does not necessarily mean the guy will make N50 on the next N5,000 fuel he will buy because from thereon he will have to increase his fares which should increase his bottom line and that is if he sees customers desperate enough to patronize him based on the new price.(Of course, this will depend on how important where those guys are going and how unwilling they are to trek)

The bottom line is that Keke rider's story is not necessarily false considering those were his major trips that morning; he's more likely to adjust his price afterwards the moment he buys the next batch fuel to avoid running that day at a loss. And yes! There will be low patronage going forward ; some of the Keke riders may even decide to focus strictly on charter like people running provisions store chartering them to help carry their goods when they go to restock or food sellers ordering them to help ferry their wares to the market and back home in the evening.


Below is the video which may seem like cruise to anybody who isn't close to those in the lower rungs of the society, but things on the streets are far worse than people are saying on the internet. I can't even count the number of times men with families will strategically perch at car parks of malls, stores and supermarkets like Jendol, etc, approach you to please buy any food item for them to take to their families. Some would even hold one of their kids and you can see they don't even want money but just food to fill their belly.

Even if they increase it and charge less those boys on the road doing toll would change it for you or even report to the boss.

By the third season they had introduced a Trans sister-in-law of the president and one black LGBTQ guy who works directly with the president creating content for him. They had started showing us video of the guy's same-sex relationship with another guy....etc.

This Tyler Perry's "Beauty in Black" too, one can tell he actually put serious efforts into developing the LGBTQ characters in the series; even when it's obvious the series would still make sense without all the LGBTQ characters in the series sef.

Not like there's anything one can do to change it o, but I'm curious as to whether it's the financiers that insist they carry the LGBTQ community along with their series/movies or whether it's the networks like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO etc that makes it mandatory for them.
